Mr. T's Gyros — Restaurant in Leyden Township

We visited tonight for a quick dinner. We've only been here 3 times before, and tonight will be our LAST time. The man at the resister was rude as he was on our other visits, but I figured that's ok. I'm not here to make friends, I just wanted some food. I gave him my order, and paid with my card. When the receipt came out of the machine he snatched it out and tossed it, not asking me if I wanted it. I thought, um ok, whatever. When we got our order I inspected it and noticed that we were shorted a soda. I explained that I had ordered one of the meal deals which came with a drink the rude man who took our order came over and scolded the cook and I, and told me that I did not order the meal deal and said "you don't get drink" and turned his back and walked away. Once again, I was not here to make friends, just wanted some food, I'm not a big fan of being treated, poorly for some very over priced, mediocre food. Do not visit if you would like any kind of fair...

The gyros in here are delicious! First time to be in this place and I seriously and instantly loved it! The staff in here is very friendly and would great you with big smiles once you enter the place. It is a small place and there are only few seats inside that is why I prefer takeout for my order. You would definitely also love their menu because it has a lot of choices and the prices are fair and reasonable. The service is also fast and I did not wait longer for my food. I ordered their combo of gyros, French fries and a coke. Both of the gyros and the French fries are hot, freshly cooked and has a nice portion. The gyros are fresh and the pork is well seasoned as well as the fries. It was such a great lunch and I love the food. I will definitely return. I highly recommend this place. Husband and I went to Mr. T’s today for the first time. I wish I would’ve taken photos of our food, but it was so good we inhaled it! I had the gyro dinner and he had the gyro burrito. Portions were HUGE. We met the owner, George, and he was more than gracious and kind. Their lemonade was delicious too! Both of our meals had French fries and they were fresh and delicious!! The gyro meat was YUMMY!! Tzatziki sauce was so good, I had to ask for a second side of it! Pita was warm and slightly toasted, the only way to eat it! We truly cannot wait to go back!
