LA MICHOACANA DST — Restaurant in Leyden Township

Review 2: I went to this location and bought a large yogurt. Yogurt will usually come with fruit and an option to add a topping to it. I never get fruit, so I asked for Large Yogurt no fruit, and wanted just pecans. The younger girl put 2 spoon scoops and I asked if she could put a bit more in there (considering I didnt get fruit and a large yogurt with 2 small scoops wouldnt be enough for a large). The older lady that worked there informed the girl attending me that it would be an extra charge. When I told her I didnt get fruit and if the additional 2 scoops can be substituted for the fruit I didnt get she looked upset and said No. But, if you dont get the toppings they obviously dont charge you a difference in price but they are quick to charge you an additional fee.

I've never gotten charged at any Michoacana for this same order as they nicely always substitute the extra topping for the fruit I never get. So, I will officially no longer be going to this specific location. It's not so much the extra fee, its customer service that goes very long way. I always spend a decent amount of money on each trip I take here (literally walk out with 10 ice creams, and additional extra treats here and there with totals occasionally $40+ each trip. but not anymore.

I officially go to the Michoacana at 6003 W Diversey Ave, Chicago, IL 60639. They have so many more flavors in Ice creams and guess what?!?!? their customer service is phenomenal and they have a wider range of snacks and its alot nicer to sit and eat. This location is .3 miles further than the one in Franklin Park, but for me if customer service is great, I'm a loyal customer! BYE Franklin Park Michoacana!

Review 1: I love this place, but they show open on Google hours but when I got there at 10:52am on a saturday they were closed. No hours of operation...

Oh boy where to begin...

I've checked this place out for the first time. I was planning to go to my usual spot on Mannheim but I said why not give this place a try and see what happens. I've arrived and as expected there's a line (like every other Michoacana) and you have to wait your turn. My turn was up...everything so far was good. I've requested 3 mangoleadas and an elote. Every thing was good, clean, it even looked amazing. Once I paid for my order (roughly about $20 dollars) I've proceeded with my order out the door and unfortunately 3 of my 4 items fell. I was upset of course and went back in. I took my patience and waited until it was my turn again and some lady came to me and asked me what's wrong. I've told her I had bumped with the door and my items fell. I asked if it was possible to re-do my order and she proceeded to state. "Once items are out of the door it's not our responsibility." When I heard that I said okay. I wasn't mad, I was disappointed. I went to get some napkins, she asked me to see the cups (which were broken) and had replace them with new ones. When she took the cups I was happy that she was helping me out. Dont get me wrong I'm grateful but after I kept looking she gave a look that kinda disturbed me. I did not like that and I saw her shake her head no when she was doing my order. She didn't replace ANYTHING other than the cups and the straw that go on it. (Maybe the mango too.)

Long story short, the way you behave and give customer service matters a lot. This was my first AND last time coming here but I will not be unfair with the place either. They have the greatest treats you can get there.

Just dont expect a good customer service.

To me Customer Service comes first...

Don’t waste your money they are selling way old yogurt and also they are very rude specially the Mexican lady and the old man who work there.I went there they charged me two times and when I told the guy who works there he was rude about it and also he got mad at me because he screwed up.Last night I went there to buy a yogurt and the yogurt was sour and I complained about it and the old man came out to supposedly taste the yogurt and he said it was good when it wasn’t I asked for a refund and they refused. I went home without my money and sick because that of that yogurt. They should not be working there ,honestly I would like them to get fired. To be exact, it’s the lady that is in one of the first picture that’s the one who was rude, the other guy he works inside making the yogurt please fire them or do something about it. Always ask for a sample before they take your money because they are not going to give your money back.This place should remain...
