Victoria Restaurant — Restaurant in Leyden Township

I would have loved to give more stars seeing that this restaurant has many good reviews, but I did not enjoy my food experience. My waitress was kind , so I have no issues there, but I was very turned off by the Avocado with chicken salad and fruit plate. I felt There was way too much going on that didn’t make any sense. I’d like to suggest that this menu item be changed a bit. First, consider serving this dish with just the avocado, chicken or tuna salad, and surround the avocado with fresh fruit. Nothing else. Provide the cottage cheese in a side bowl or dish on the plate. Leave the cole slaw, tomatoes, onions, pickles, and everything else that you currently add to this dish out. Those items simply do not make sense and they ruin the entire dish, and I’m pretty certain many others would agree. I sadly barely touched my plate. I ate the fruit and asked for more because I simply didn’t have much of any, but I sure did have plenty of cole slaw, cottage cheese, and chicken salad all slopped onto the same plate. It truly wasn’t a pleasant presentation nor did all those food items touching make sense. I was hopeful for a better experience, and I was truly surprised to see how this dish...

First time here, passed by many times. I was pleasantly surprised at the look and feel of the place. Friendly service. Tho I had a long wait for the check and couple of food issues Hence the 3 stars. Ordered chicken fried steak and eggs with well done crispy hash browns. Food came out quickly. I did immediately notice hash browns nowhere near how they were ordered. Ordered an omelet to go, asked that it not be over cooked (NO brown) it was all over brown. I was very disappointed this was not noticed by the waitress before bringing me the plate or packing to go box. All said, the food I did eat was delicious the omelet, (HATE OVER COOKED EGGS) went uneaten. I will be back with my husband next time to give it one more try on getting my order right, and upping the star rating. UPDATE. Second times the charm!! Excellent food, awesome service,...

Love this place..... I've been coming here since 2010 mostly on a Sunday morning for breakfast🍳 with my father..... Otherwise known as a little hole in the wall..... It's an undercover outstanding little Greek🍰 spoon restaurant..... On Friday my last time I visited I went for lunch and I had an outstanding all you can eat fish fry along with popcorn shrimp🍤 and traditional sides that come along..... ended up having three servings of the beer battered taste cod fish..... the only negative point was the waitress said," a third serving"??? Of course I gave her the minimum 15%(tip) that everyone should include when they pay their bill, regardless if the waiter waitress was crabby that day..... Definitely hit Victoria's!!! You'll always remember VICTORIA's when you're on Mannheim Road...
