I was STARVING at lunch time today, which was my fault for not eating breakfast lol but I wanted something really filling, delicious and quick—in comes Tamale Box! We’ve ordered from them before, but I hadn’t grabbed lunch yet during the week. This was PHENOMENAL! I was running low on time, which they didn’t know, but I still got fresh food, great conversation, and got back to work with time to spare. I was recommended the beans and rice combo with my tamales, and it was a great idea—very fluffy rice and the beans were perfectly made! I am so happy that I found Tamale Box in Liberty Lake - I grew up in L.A. and know a great Tamale when I taste one. The Pork Chile Verde was authentic & delicious as were the cotija topped beans however the rice was not so great IMO, but to be fair I'm not a big fan of Spanish / Mexican rice so the next time I order from Tamale Box & I will absolutely be returning, I will get a Tamal & double order of beans. I grew up and Spokane and no longer live there. Since learning about Tamale box, I make it a point to eat here. Who knew the best tamales would be in Liberty Lake.

Great atmosphere, I love the aesthetic and color palette that creates a family friendly experience.

The tamales are authentic and delicious. And then I learned it’s the owners families recipe.
