Unfortunately, we came at 5pm tonight (Saturday 1/21). Even though they don’t close until 6, all the chairs were upside down on the tables. They looked closed so we had to call to see if they were open. We were told they were slow, so they pre-closed. Not good, especially on a Saturday night and since they have such an obscure location. I was the first to order (cheese steak wrap), then my husband ordered tacos and a kids bowl for the boy. They brought food out for the boys so I thought mine just took longer. By the time they were almost finished with their food, we were wondering where mine was and asked. The girl with dark hair at the register said “oh, I didn’t hear you.” She had three people ordering but she only took two orders? (Even though I ordered first) Besides that, the kids bowl was $10 with bland noodles and weird chicken chunks. Didn’t even let him finish it. Tacos were “ok”. Disappointing because my husband was looking forward to this place and told me how good it was when it was a food truck. On a Saturday night they looked closed, it was cold and bland (food and ambiance) no music, just waiting for bad food in silence while the girl was on her phone (would occasionally look up and see me waiting while the boys ate). It felt like a morgue. Maybe we went on an “off night”, but no way he will ever get me back there. I would give it a zero if I could, because that’s how much food I waited 20 minutes for. *note to owner Your business is slow on a Saturday night for a reason. Your vision is only as good as the people who represent you, the ambiance and the food. None of it was worth coming back for, Sorry. If you don’t make changes, it will fail. There are too many other good places to go in Liberty Lake that’s worth spending money at. (I suggest piccolo’s where the food and the people are awesome)

Tonight a couple friends and I tried out 3 Ninjas, in Liberty Lake. The restaurant was clean and the people working there were kind and knowledgeable. It’s a place where you order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. They have plenty of canned sodas, juices, sparkling waters, beers and other drinks to choose from. We started with an order of chips, salsa and queso. The chips had a nice seasoning on them. The fire-roasted salsa had good flavor. The queso wasn’t my favorite. The three of us all tried something different and we all thoroughly enjoyed our choices. I went with their Firecracker chicken bowl with shredded cabbage. I was also able to substitute grilled chicken for fried chicken. The flavor was wonderful, not too spicy (even with the jalapeños). The shredded cabbage base worked perfectly. One friend went with their orange chicken bowl, with rice as the base. She really liked it. Loved the Asian slaw and pineapple salsa. My other friend asked what their popular dish was and was told about their bulgogi. Which made her decide to go with the Bulgogi tacos. She was impressed with the flavor. There was a little crunch from the wonton chips and the beef was tender with great flavor. This is a place I will definitely go again.

This place was recommended by a colleague and it turned out to be pretty good. First off, when you walk in, it has some interesting art. Definitely not your run of the mill place, but certainly unique. I ended up getting a mix of tacos: bulgogi, carnitas, and mahi mahi. The bulgogi was my favorite. Tons of flavor, really good. After that, the mahi mahi was probably my next favorite. I might have liked the carnitas a little less, maybe because I've had some pretty good carnitas in the past. But all three were good tacos. The colleagues I went with there all got bowls and I think they mostly liked them. Very large portions. Servers here are very friendly, very helpful. Definitely a good place to try.

Their peanut sauce is pretty flavorless, they use garbage chicken cuts, the noodles were overcooked to mush, my bowl was mostly noodles and super skimped for add-ins (peanut bowl says it has mushrooms, which I guess is true - two mushrooms is technically plural).

I asked for no onions and I got onions anyway, and my cabbage was brown, floppy, and just about ready for the trash.

I'll try going another day and see if maybe the cook today just didn't care or something. I called for a refund and nobody picked up the phone.

They also had a group of people in there being loud as hell and cursing and being obnoxious. Another couple was picking up food the same time I was and also remarked on it aloud. Nobody seemed to care or do anything. But that's... Idk. Sometimes theres just really not anything you can do, I get it. But after two customers have remarked on the noise level and the nature of the conversation being had, maybe try at least something.

Update: did end up contacting a manager. Super nice dude. Handled my complaint with tact and understanding. So I’ve improved my...
