I have always been a supporter of True Legends and it is convenient because I live in liberty lake and is a great place to hangout during the football season for the games. The owners are great and this review is for them. It is not their fault but they absolutely need to know what happened to us this Saturday because it was uncalled for and something that a customer should never ever have to go through. I came in with my family to watch one of the NFL preseason games. We were seated and accommodated very nicely by the manager. He even went the extra mile of seating us at a table specifically so we could enjoy the game. We felt so welcomed at first. Our server came to our table and we ordered our drinks. We got our drinks and our server completely went MIA for a good 30 min. (No big deal we understand it was a busier time of the day) so still not receiving any service from our server I decided to take it upon myself to go up to the bar and order the drinks I wanted. I wasn't rude and wasn't even upset just wanted another drink for myself and the table. I walked up and asked the bartender if I could get "A and B" they said to me "don't you have a server" I said yes we do but I haven't seen her in awhile. The bartender should have just taken my order no questions asked and brought our drinks to us instead I was brushed off like it was my servers job who was nowhere to be found so I just went back to my table and waited. Instead of receiving our drinks it was like the employees were complaining about us like it was a high-school "click" we could literally see multiple servers and employees laughing and looking at our table. I am not kidding I thought I was in a high-school cafeteria. Our whole table felt a very uncomfortable tension from just about everyone who worked there. It was the worst feeling I have ever had anywhere as a customer. To top it off during this, one of our family members went to the bathroom and an employee looked her straight in the eyes and said "what the F are you looking at" it is hard to even describe how horrible of an experience it was in this review. We asked for the manager and told him what had happened and he kindly offered to pay for our drinks. We appreciated that but it doesn't make anything about what happened to us okay and I promise you I will never be back to...
Read moreWe went to True Legends Grill for the first time on Friday, Jan. 20, 2023. It was a very busy night for the restaurant, which I take as a good sign. However, even though it was busy and you would naturally expect it to be loud, the noise level surpassed a tolerable threshold. I think it is most likely just an acoustics issue but sitting down at a table and not being able to talk with your family because of the noise isn’t ideal.
Our server was Anastasia and she was pretty solid. She was swamped so we didn’t get beverage refills until the end of our meal but we understood. She really did try her best.
The menu had a pretty diverse selection of pizzas, calzones, burgers, sandwiches, pastas, appetizers, and more. Prices lean to the expensive side for the type of restaurant that it is. For example, I got the Cougar Gold burger that was $17.99. For an $18 burger you expect a good-sized patty and gourmet bun. These specifications were met by True Legends as my burger was large, fresh, and contained within a fresh bun. With that said, my burger lacked flavor. My wife ordered the boneless wings and she was satisfied. My children ordered off the children’s menu ($6.99 per meal…not bad!) and they each got the sliders. You receive two sliders but each burger is the size of a cheeseburger you would get at McDonald’s so that is a plus. I really enjoyed the fries and spicy seasoning they were topped with.
One final thing that was disappointing. I ordered a Blue Moon and it was bitter-tasting. It tasted as if it was in the keg for too long. For as much as restaurants charge for beer, you can only help that the pint you purchase is fresh.
I can’t give True Legends an above average rating because of the atmosphere, food quality, and high prices for non-children’s menu items. We probably won’t return but you might...
Read moreSo where do I start… Experience wasn’t completely horrible. The food was mediocre. Either I’m a better cook now that I’m getting older, or food sucks sometimes. My wife and I and four children wanted to try something new and sometimes you have to take a loss. Had the Gonzaga burger. It was OK but nothing great. Sometimes bigger is not always better. I’m picky about my hot wings so I knew that I was either going to be disappointed or it was going to be the best wings in town. I asked them for extra crispy but they were not. Gave them the benefit of the doubt that after eating 1 wing if I tell them to make them extra well that they would come back better. They did not. Probably ate three out of 12 wings and just threw in the towel. French fries were just normal french fries. Pizza we ordered for the kids was probably the best thing on the menu but even then, there is better pizza close by. Customer Service was between a three and four and the food was a two so I thought it was fair enough to leave a three star review. I don’t think me and my family will come back to this place. It’s big and not uptight and the kids can be loud without being judged, which is what we wanted for family that day. Not much to ask to just get decent food. To spend $75 not including tip hurts… And of course my wife let me know for the next two hours after that it was my fault...
