Came here last summer. Mosquitoes were so bad on the patio. Waitress moved the citronella candle under the table - no relief. Moved tables - no relief. Waitress was super, food fantastic. I stopped in a few days later to show the mgr on duty my legs. No One would believe the number of bites unless seen in person.
Fast forward to today. Tuesday. The slowest day of the week for restaurants. I stopped by with a product that I paid for myself to try to give them. It's safe for pets and birdbaths and can be dangled by a string to keep it in place. They have a board walk over a fresh water drainage ditch.
I stopped by....cheery, hoping to give them months worth of this stuff. Not sell it. Just to make it a nicer place to visit. I asked for the mgr...I sat down and ordered lunch. I was told he was off premise. After an hour I asked if he was available. The waitress checked and then walked by without saying anything. The other woman came by and said he was too busy too come talk to me but I could call and make an appointment. I had already told her why I was there.
He did come out and talk to me. Heck yeah I was mad. He told me I was condensending. He told me I had an attitude. He never asked what the product was. He never asked how my food or service was. He was just too busy to come out of the office to talk to a customer face to face. He told me that he had never, ever heard of a mosquito problem on the patio. He walked away with a sarcastic, nasty comment about coming back if I wanted more mosquito bites. He was wearing a bright blue shirt...I could see the office door from my seat. I'm pretty sure he was in there the...
Read moreI love this place. Every time I'm there, the waitresses are really nice, attentive, and check on you often to see if you need anything. The beer list has variety and is constantly changing. They even have what's going to be on tap listed on a sign on each table. I highly recommend their Pumking! It comes with a kind of sugary-syrup on the rim that just puts it over the top.
The food here is incredibly consistent and sets itself apart from typical bar food. The zucchini planks appetizer is one of my favorite things there. Their breading is crisp on the outside but still soft on the inside, covering the slices of zucchini, with a nice wasabi ranch dipping sauce on the side. I've had a lot of wraps and sandwiches from here and they've all been great, especially their Buffalo Chicken wrap. Most things come with saratoga chips but you have an option to get sweet potato fries with an amazing cup cinnamon-butter to dip them in (my girlfriend's favorite).
The setup of this bar is great. There's TVs everywhere in about every angle, so it's tough to find a bad spot in the house to watch a sports game. This is one of the best sports bars in the area. I used to go to the Milford location all the time and they were just as good. It's great to see good consistency for a small...
Read moreArrived on a Sunday evening around 5:30pm. Had a party of 5 but the host tried to sit us at a table only made for 4 people and he pulled over an extra chair. We told him it was way to cramped to sit there and he moved us to a larger table to accomodate us. After 10 mins, we finally had a waitress come to our table. We had to ask for menus and when we did, she only gave us two menus for our party of 5. We ordered several drinks and one of the beers we ordered took 15 mins to get - we had to ask another waitress to get it for us. When our waitress came back she apologized but she also said several cuss words as why she was having a bad night - all this while in front of our kids.
Ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and it was just okay. Not much flavor at all. Others in our party ordered chicken wings and thought they were okay. The cup of chili was very bland and watery. The atomosphere was nice as there are many tv's to watch sports on and it was quiet. The food was just okay and the service was not good. Maybe was an off night, but...
