Penn Station East Coast Subs — Restaurant in Liberty Township

So i hadnt got to go by Penn stations and i thought they always make a decent sub its been a while lets go there... BIG mistske. We walked un everthing was good we ordered and waited i ordered a 10" cheesteak with extra steak and a add small fry and my fella got an 8",since he is tryong to watch what he is eating, with the meat well done anf a large fry. After waiting for some time and listening as two of the three works tall about the one who is in the back making bread after he took our order and took our money. One of the two got another guests order together and came out from behind the counter finally the gentle that had went in the back came out and checked on our order time. He asked why it was just sitting there and that we had been waiting the grntlemam that cooked our food responded with some smart remark like if he hadnt been in the back it would have been out which made me mad since there were two of them out there someone should have been taking care of what few guest you have left. So the gentleman who took our order and money and was making bread didnt respond to the guy who made the remark he bagged our good and we left glsdly once we got home we discovered i had no extra meat though i was chatged for it no large fry though i paid for them and the meat wasnt well done and i had no desire to go back into that hostile environment. Don’t order on-line! We have enjoyed Penn Station Cheesesteaks for years. We understand that they are decidedly better consumed in the restaurant; however, that is not an option at this tIme. So, we decided to place an on-line order and go pick it up. I arrived about seven minutes before the scheduled pick up time. My arrival was announced as I entered the restaurant. I walked to the pick up location and noticed quite a number of sandwiches stacked on a counter behind the preparation area. About 25 minutes passed and in that time, two takeout orders had been filled. Finally, one of the employees asked if our sandwiches were among the stack I referenced above. I can’t say that our sandwiches had been sitting there the whole time I waited; however, one person pulled our two sandwiches from that stack and they filled my order. At least the fries were fresh. The sandwiches were a little soaked and still mostly warm. Net, not a complete disappointment.

This is the worst expirience ive ever had at a Penn Station. They were not busy even though it was a saturday night. And it took nearly 25 minutes to get my food. I drove an extra 5 minutes because this place had better reviews. It does not derserve what they had. The bread was not toasted. It was completely soggy by the time i got home. I opened the sub and all the topping stuck to the paper and came out of bread. My 12 in sub was not cut in half. I literally went home and toasted my own baguette that i had and used that. My fries were smushed in a lump at the bottom of my bag. There were 5 people working that night, and one of the staff was acting terrible to his coworkers. Incredibly passive agressive.
