We arrived as a large group around 3 pm on a Sunday afternoon, and we're thankfully able to be seated together near the back, which we much appreciated. We were all very much looking forward to trying the new Indian restaurant in the area, and let me tell you, it's probably my new favorite!! I got my classic Chicken Tikka Masala #3 spice level with plain naan, and everything was SO GOOD! There was absolutely plenty of food between all of us, so there was no way a single one of us ever would have gone hungry. We got dessert here, which I don't typically do, but OMG, the Gulab Jamon was warm and delicious! My mouth is still watering from how delightful it was! The wait staff here was only one worker at the time but it wasn't very busy so quite reasonable and they did an excellent job serving our large group and even figuring out everyone's split checks without being asked, 5 stars! Overall, the food here and the staff were both excellent, and I know we'll be back...
Read moreMy wife and I enjoyed two lunch combos. They were fairly priced at $16 each and came with garlic naan, rice, a vegetable item, and two main courses. It was served on a large silver compartmentalized tray. Each meal also included a dessert. We enjoyed a sweet rice pudding and the other reminded me of a syrup covered, warm donut.
The food was excellent to taste. I tend to eat more than I ought and the meal satiated me. My wife ended up with leftovers. Our service was also very good. I asked a few questions about the items in the meals and the server helping us was very nice in answering them.
My only criticism would be to include more photos and descriptions on the menu. Being familiar with Indian cuisine, I recognized most the entrees and knew what I would like. I would recommend giving them a shot if you’re interested in affordable, delicious...
Read moreMy wife and I noticed a new Indian restaurant(Taste of India) had gone in on Cinci/Dayton Road replacing a Italian place. We decided to stop and almost didn't go in since there was not one else there but it was after one so we gave it a try. Wonderful service, added an extra appetizer so we could try, explained several dishes we were not familiar with. In addition to the usual Indian/American dishes there were a number of items (believe northern India) that I was not familiar with. I tried one ginger kadi lamb while my wife stuck the tikki chicken masala. Both were wonderful and generous. My wife order as part of a lunch special which included choice of two items, naan, app and a desert. (both her choices were tikki masala. Will definitely go back. We didn't ask about a children's menu buy they seemed very...
