Expensive coffee, rude workers, and spoiled whipped topping.
Don’t you dare forget your mask and walk in this Starbucks! Also, don’t you dare be of the male gender and try to order from here…I’m someone who always wears their mask no matter if it’s required or not, but today I was in a rush and forget it. Instead of then asking me politely asking me to wear a mask, they proceeded to treat me as if I’m a second class citizen. I tell them my very simple two drink order, she proceeds to get the sizes wrong, the number of drinks wrong, and the price all wrong. She had to reset it and they finally got my order correct. They waited around 10 minutes to start my drink, even though they weren’t busy at all. They just sat there talking. My drinks finally were complete, so she asked me if I need straws, so I say “Yes please.” This was my first time being in there, and I didn’t see them on the shelf by the door. Her coworker says, “they’re on the shelf,” I say the normal “thank you have a great day!” Instead of getting the normal, “Thanks you too!” Like the female customer that came in got, I get a nice eye roll and a mumbled “yeah.” I then hear a worker say “is he just too lazy to grab a straw? I mean, he wasn’t wearing a mask Anyways.” And multiple other snarky comments. If you’re that upset about someone forgetting to wear a mask, just kindly ask them to wear them. If they confronted me about not wearing one I would’ve felt extremely bad about it since I am a person who usually wears one.I then try my drink and the whipped topping tastes very spoiled. Hoping I do not catch food...
Read moreWhen I was a much younger man, I worked at this exact Starbucks location for a summer. It had just opened, and everyone was super green at this sort of thing. When cars started to snake around the building during the morning rush, everyone would go into panic mode, the assistant manager would take off his cap and get on the espresso machine, and we’d burn through it.
I don’t know if the menu is more complicated, Covid measures are hampering productivity, online ordering has thrown a wrench into things, or the apathy and bloat of success is to blame, but Starbucks has lost its way across the board.
Nowhere is that more evident than at this Starbucks, where literally any time of day is a bad time to go, and the orders come out painfully slowly. I’ve stopped going here altogether because there’s absolutely no reason to sit in a drive thru line for 30 minutes or longer. The coffee’s not that good!
I’d tell you to just go into the Kroger, but don’t, because that’s where I go and I can’t have you guys turning that Starbucks...
Read moreThis location is the slowest and the quality of the espresso drinks are the most inconsistent of any Starbucks I have been to. I waited 20 minutes in the drive through this morning just to get a flat white and an almond milk latte that were basically undrinkable. Also, whether it is a corporate owned store or not, they obviously do not put any money into maintaining it or upgrading it. There is always a machine that is broken down whether it is the roasted coffee brewer or one of the ovens. This was the case this morning, they had only one operating oven and it made the wait time even longer than it normally is. The only thing positive I can say about this store is that some of the employees actually try to get to know you if you are a repeat customer. Most are friendly at this store. I think the problem overall is that the...
