Should have known better than to try ordering pizza from Donato's Powell location again. Stopped ordering from them several months ago because their website would not process transactions with my credit card. Was given no explanation by the store as to why this was happening. Oh well. So tried again recently, hoping tech issue was resolved. The charge went through. Yay! When pizza arrived, it included pepperoni topping, which I, a vegetarian, most certainly did not request. Tried calling store 3 times, but store was hanging up on me after about 10 rings. Called national number and they rang the store for me. What do you know, someone answered the phone. Told them what happened and they replaced the pizza in 20 minutes. Unfortunately, I requested extra mushrooms and normal amount of green olives, but the new pizza was overloaded with green olives and had normal amount of mushrooms. Unbelievable, but I guess ordering pizza from this store is not in the cards for me ever again. Too bad, because when they get it right, their pizza...
Read moreJust got my delivery order a little bit ago. I am giving 2 stars because it was extremely fast and of course everything had the wonderful Donatos flavor. However, I am not sure what part about adding the sausage to the Big Don Italian was not understood? I paid the extra price for it and of course everyone knows the added sausage is what makes that sub! Perhaps the stoner deliver driver got the munchies on the drive over and swiped the sausage link off my sub? It is plain as day on my receipt. OMG I am going to die now that I have to eat this sausageless sub! I guess I should give three stars though as I do have high cholesterol so perhaps you were doing me a favor. Seriously though, you did forget the sausage on my Big Don Italian...
Read moreLast night, I ordered delivery and was quoted a 1 hour and 15 wait time. Not only was the food late (1 hour and 45minutes), it wasn't complete with what I ordered. I paid for extra sour cream and didn't receive ANY sour cream after waiting almost 2 hours for my original order. I called the manager and he didn't offer any compensation, he didn't offer to remake the pizza nor did he offer me a future credit for their mistake.
However! He said he'd send the driver back with my sour cream "whenever he got back in the store". Two and a half hours later, my food order was freezing cold and inedible. I ended up throwing it away before I could even eat it.
Needless to say, VERY disappointing...
