Tonight was our first time dining at Mantra but it absolutely won’t be our last. We started off with the spicy chili momo and we were blown away with how flavorful they were. The heat/spice level was perfectly balanced (we ordered them a little extra spicy). We had to make ourselves stop eating them because we had more food on the way, Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Biryani, and a bread basket (fresh naan, garlic naan, and roti). The garlic naan was some of the best I’ve ever had. So soft and steamy and plenty of garlic. The lamb biryani was out of this world. The lamb was so tender and there was plenty of it in the dish. The chicken tikka masala was perfectly spiced and tender. I can’t recommend Mantra enough. It’s Friday and we’re already making dinner plans for Monday. We had to grab a to-go menu to study so we knew what...

Wow! This is my second visit and I keep getting blown away each time. The first time I had lamb tikka masala but the second time I didn’t even make it past the apps. The samosa chat is a deconstructed samosa with all the sauces and goodies in it already, easy to eat and very filling! The dumplings come in multiple flavors but I got the spicy ones and the steamed ones. Steamed are good but the spicy ones are to die for! A must! Chicken tikka comes in a sizzling fashion very cool! Service is nice very amicable people. Helpful and always trying to provide a good ambiance. Very good hidden gem! And again the spicy dumplings are a must if you can handle it. It is spicy but nothing too bad. Not a fan of the vegetables on the side but the main dish is to die for! They also didn’t kick us out and welcomed us in after walking...

Having growing up in Atlanta, I grew up eating at the many Indian and Nepalese restaurants there. Eating at Mantra brings me back to some of my fondest culinary memories, first experiencing the smells, colors, and spices of the food from India and Nepal.

Everything I have had at Mantra has been delicious, but my go-to dishes are the Panipuri as an appetizer, the Tandoori Chicken Tikka, which always comes out sizzling and juicy, and the Thali Special, which offers a variety of Nepalese small dishes, so you can try many different things if you want.

Sashi and Shariya have always taken care of me, and make me feel like I am eating as a guest of theirs rather than just a customer. I highly recommend Mantra if you want some authentic Indian and...

This Nepalese/Indian spot had a good mix of familiar and new offerings that piqued our interest. This was my first time trying goat, and I was pleasantly surprised. The Goat Thali Set had a good variety of items to try, and it was seasoned perfectly with a nice amount of heat. My wife got the Paneer Tikka Masala and it had a good, kind of sweet taste to it. She had a lot of vegetarian options to choose from, but went with one of her favorites. The Garlic Naan was absolutely a home run - one of the best we’ve had. We’ll definitely be back to try some of the other things the menu has to offer. I’m looking forward to something else I’ve never tried - the Steamed Momos!

Mantra is a crown jewel in the Mahoning Valley for anyone with a taste for Indian or Nepalese cuisine. Indian food is always a favorite of mine; Mantra provides amazing food, spectacular service, as well as an inviting and cozy atmosphere. I have to get my fix here at least once a week, LOL. Their staff is attentive and friendly. During my last visit, Shriya made sure my drinks were full and food was out as soon as possible despite how busy the place was. Spectacular experience through-and-through. An absolute MUST-try for any connoisseur of Indian or Nepalese cuisine, or those that just like flavorful (and/or spicy!) food in general.
