A Wonderful First-Time Experience at Wicked Egg
This was our first time visiting Wicked Egg as a family of three, including our 3-year-old son, and we had a truly memorable experience.
We ordered the Wicked Good Burger, Avocado Toast, and Keep It Simple, along with a White Chocolate Salted Caramel Cold Brew, tea, and chocolate milk. The food was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious.
Since the setup appeared to be self-service, we didn’t leave a tip at the counter when placing our order, as we typically don’t for pickup or self-service restaurants. However, the level of service we received throughout our visit far exceeded our expectations.
At one point, I took my son to the restroom, which was very clean and well-maintained. On our way back, one of the hosts kindly brought my coffee directly to me, which was a thoughtful touch I really appreciated.
Initially, we hadn’t ordered anything for our son other than water, but after seeing both parents with drinks, he asked for chocolate milk. While ordering it, I noticed a gentleman from the kitchen speaking with my wife. When I asked her about it, she shared that he had kindly asked if our son had any allergies, and upon learning that he didn’t, he offered to make something special for him.
Shortly afterward, he brought out a beautifully presented Mickey Mouse-shaped pancake with strawberries, blueberries, and chocolate chips. He even took the time to interact with our son, making sure he liked the food and engaging him in a friendly way.
Throughout our meal, every staff member who walked by checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, and they did so in a way that felt genuine and welcoming. When we were finished eating, someone came by and cleared our trays for us, which was another appreciated gesture.
By the end of our meal, I honestly felt that I should have left a tip for such exceptional service and kindness. This review is the least I can do to express our appreciation.
If you haven’t visited Wicked Egg yet, I highly recommend it for breakfast. And if you happen to see Teddy in the kitchen—he was wearing a hat during our visit—be sure to say hello. He helped make our experience...
Read moreOk......Here's the deal....the food.....is INCREDIBLE.... it really is. They are super nice there. The head chef I believe is also the owner. Looks like a decent guy. I'll say this....I think its hard to put a new spin on breakfast....I Mean.....its Breakfast, what are you really going to do except improve on the quality of the food? Well....they do that for sure. But the little tweaks that they have put into their dishes have made it a cut above the rest. The little French toast bits....to die for. (I had Nutella drizzled on them because I live and die for sweets) And the breakfast burrito....omg....so good. Here's my only negative.....Between the two of us having breakfast it was about 50 bucks....and yes I had a 6 dollar juice they make there....(very worth it by the way) But that is a ton to spend for breakfast at a place that is kinda like a new wave fast food place. But seriously, that's MY ONLY complaint....and I have to be fair about it. But don't let that discourage you from going there. It's insanely...
Read moreThe Wicked Egg.. I’ve been there so many times at this point I need to just apply for a job. Their food is ALWAYS good. It’s never let me down. The quality has never had a bad day, nor have items even been missing. The speed at which their culinary experts have your order ready is beyond impressive to say the least and to still have made ZERO mistakes after all these visits…. Truly one of a kind. The staff and ownership are welcoming, friendly, and most importantly genuine. You feel like you’re at your favorite bar or country club when you walk in and are greeting by name with true smiles and the aroma of exactly what you need. I recommend ordering a drink with one of the dishes. Do it. Just do it. My personal favorite dish is the Wicked BLT with their original hot sauce (I suggest you buy a bottle and use it at home in everything you can) and I wash it down with ANY of their housemade juices. If you’re looking for a goto place to eat… You’re one visit away from...
