McDonald's — Restaurant in Lima

Not happy at all we used to come here all the time and let our kids play and we'll haven't done it in a while so last night we decided we wanted to take them to eat and soooo they can play we thought it was open till 9 we get there at 7 and sign says open till 8 so we said ok at least they can play for an hour so we send them back there to play and as we head back there one of the employees comes back there saying I thought I closed it already and said we couldn't b back there kids get upset and he says since your already back here we will give you 30 mins making it 8:00pm so we are back there letting them play and we are eating he they come back there 3-4 times reminding us how much time we have left and remind you we are not rude we watching the time so we are rushing to eat and let the kids play it is 7:50ish he comes back cleaning the bathroom and as he comes out we are gathering our food and stuff up and telling the kids it's time to go and tell me why this petty ass employee goes out and turns the lights out on us and there was another family in there as well with kids younger than my 4 year old they are all scared and start crying cause it's dark my husband goes to get a bag for our food we didn't finish and this guy goes back up front to telling his coworkers "I just turned the lights off on them" all of them start laughing which really pisses me off cause these kids of ours are little mine has health issues and if something would of happened to them in that play area cause they wanted to b petty ans turn the lights out best believe I would of sued the other family said the same thing im soooooo not happy right now we were paying customers we were there before closing there is no reason we couldn't sit there in peace and let our kids play and enjoy our dinner without being rushed there were so many workers in there literally coling decor for Christmas someone could of easily not been lazy and gone back there after we left to clean very bad customer service for sure...

Was the only one in the drive thru ordering and even though they had a whole crew I still waiting just over 10 min just for a big Mac and a spicy chicken sandwich with 2 medium fries. I don't know what happened to the motivation of fast food crews today, but when I started out working fast food we had to be fast, accurate, and friendly all while making sure the customers food is fresh as possible. This playing on your phone and goofing off isn't doing it anymore and they wonder why customers are flipping out. Might be faster to order a pizza and not have to go out and get it at this point.

Update for Oct 2022- tried again to give them a second redemption chance. I order a chicken deluxe and what do I get? Nothing but the bun, chicken patty, and 3 pickles. Nothing else was on it and I'm like what's this, to the kid with the visor and foot long troll hair popping out the top. Crispy chicken he said. I said I wanted the deluxe you know lettuce, tomato, sauce, you know. He took the sandwich back, I waited 4 min for the return and look at it again. Not only did they refried the chicken to the point it was burned the only toppings added was and I'm not joking when I say this exactly 1.25mL of mayo which is about a dab on your pinky, and 3 quarter size tomatoes that were so dried out they were wrinkly from starting to shrink. I shook my head and drove off. Clearly the managers don't care and the employees have no pride in the work they are paid to do in the first place. Since when was this acceptable work place edict? It sure wasn't when I was working fast food...

My sister messages me this about the McDonald’s on west street …. “ we decided to take the kids there to eat dinner and let them play in the playland like we always used to do and this is McDonald's on West Street we thought the play area didn't close till 9 we get there at 7ish and find out the sign said they close it at 8 ok at least they get an hour to play so we send them back there and as we start to go back there one of the employees said I thought i closed that already and came back saying we can't b back there we close it at 6 kids r upset then he says since you're already back here I'll give you 30 minutes to let them play so that would be 8:00 so we're back there letting them play we're eating comes back there two or three times telling us how much longer we have he goes to clean the bathroom at 7:50ish comes out of the bathroom we're cleaning up the area and gathering our kids up to then him going out and literally turns off the lights on us and another family that had kids younger than my youngest made us all mad he goes out in the lobby and tells his coworkers I just turn the lights out on them and they all start laughing tell me how that is good customer service like seriously if one of our kids got hurt cause they wanted to b childish they would of been sorry idk why some have to be so petty we need more kind people in this world again life's to short people “”
