I had driven by this hole-in-the-wall location many times, completely unaware of what I was missing. But now that I’ve discovered them, I will be eating here a lot. The food was so good. We tried the breakfast burrito’s, since it was 8AM. I had the chorizo, potato, and eggs one. I added cheese for the extra buck. My companion tried the sausage, potato & eggs one which he paid extra and added bacon and cheese too. First surprise was the heft of these things. They are enormous. It’s a great value for such a low price. But beyond just a great deal and a huge meal, is the fact that they were delicious. The chorizo had wonderful spice, the homemade mild and hot sauces I used were an awesome accompaniment. The potato’s and eggs inside were so creamy. It all blended so perfectly together inside the house-made tortillas they use. My companion is new to the world of breakfast burritos, and exclaimed, “This is so good, we’re coming back here again tomorrow.” To which I replied, “This burrito is so big, I’ll probably still be eating it tomorrow.” Lol. If you’re anywhere near this restaurant, you should definitely give it a try. I am certain you’ll be very happy you did. I can’t wait to try the lunch and dinner options. Everything on the menu looked so delicious. Nice clear pictures of the food, and great descriptions and clear prices. I don’t think we even waited five minutes from ordering to pulling away with the warm back of deliciousness. I also see they offer...
Read moreI walked up to the window to order, they had a line that wrapped around quite a ways. I was quoted 30 minutes but it was about 45 which is okay with me because they were slammed. The staff was very nice and helpful!
I had the enchiladas and I thought they were great, the cheese wasn’t melted in my cheese enchilada. I reheated it at home but otherwise it was still delicious. I also had the chicken and it was really great, it was shredded white and dark meat. The refried beans were fantastic and the rice was just okay.
Guacamole was really good, needs a bit of salt though. Salsa is good but a little smoky and spicy, forewarning in case that’s not your thing.
My husband had the street tacos and the quesabirria, he said the grilled chicken didn’t taste like grilled chicken, he said it definitely needed more flavor. The carnitas he enjoyed the best, quesabirria being second. The street tacos and the quesabirria came with sauce and salsas and he loved them!
Our friend had the beef chimichanga and he didn’t find much enjoyment in it, he said it definitely needed more flavor and seasoning.
I am definitely interested in retrying this place after it slows down!
*I do want to note that my wait was only around 45 minutes while those that were in the drive thru...
Read moreNever had a problem at Victors Taco Shop until my last time there. Something was wrong with their machine & they ended up swiping my card three times and I ended up being charged twice! The “manager” was called to fix the situation but she showed up & said “those are declined transactions, it’s not our problem it’s your problem & you need to call your bank”. Need mind you I had ALREADY called my bank & they said to take it up with the merchant because they did indeed charge my card twice! When she refused to fix the charge I told her I wanted refunded & she had the audacity to say “I’m not doing that, go home & warm it up or don’t eat it.” Refund was never given! Had to dispute the charges with my bank. Make sure to check your cards before leaving the establishment & even then they won’t do anything...
