Bruster's Real Ice Cream — Restaurant in Limerick Township

A group of us went here after a local dance recital on Saturday 6/17. My wife and I ordered 2 single scoop ice cream waffle cones and my 2 daughters each ordered a single scoop in a cup. The cones looked what I would call "normal" in size. What my daughters were given were ice cream portions so small it was laughable (I only wish I took pictures to post them here). I thought was a mistake. I even asked the girl at the counter if they were given "kiddie" portions. She said no, it was a "single scoop". This also happened to several of the other dancers that were there. I have been at this place several times before and never saw a portion this small. If you compared the portion to the single scoop cone, it was not even close. I was not happy considering it cost me $22 for the 4 of us. My girls were disappointed as well. Next time we will go elsewhere... not the only...

Great this establishment has VEGAN/DAIRY FREE ice cream options!

This is wonderful for dairy allergies and they have always understood when we ask for clean gloves and clean scoops that haven't been cross contaminated.

Plus, they offer more than 1 or 2 flavors!

PLUS, their VEGAN oatmilk ice cream tastes delightful and not like some soymilk options that were only available years ago from other places.

Thank you BRUSTERS for recognizing the absolute NEED for these options.

Many people either have severe dairy allergies and cannot simply "pop a pill" as have been told by other places that don't understand this problem is medical and not optional or simply treated by a pill. Or some people choose or need to eat vegan and often lack places that offer these types of foods!

Finally my daughter has a place she can get REAL ICE CREAM that's...

As we waited in line we can hear the cashier yelling at people over different things. We ordered ice cream and the cashier tall curly blonde guy (on 5-15 at about 310p) was extremely rude. There was 4 of us so one of us stood at the window waiting for the food and the other 3 moved aside and he freaked out and said don't move stay right there. I stated we were just moving over and he said don't. Then he said something about how about u leave a $5 tip. They are paid a wage no tip nessassary especially with terrible customer service. The highlight was the ice cream which was why I gave 2 stars. I like busters but I doubt I will be back to...
