Sonny's Italian Deli — Restaurant in Limerick Township

Ordered a 2 ft"junkyard"....unbelievably salty...actually numbed my tongue and left a burning sensation on my lips for several hours. (It was delivered to me at work along with about 45 others) On reading the reviews thought they deserved the chance to make it right. I took the 19 remaining inches of sandwich back, the owner asked what was wrong. "I'd like a refund for this, it was unbearably salty, like someone opened a salt shaker and poured it down the sandwich" "Did you ask for salt and pepper"she asked "No" "Well we don't refund money, maybe remake a sandwich if the meat is rancid(implying well that happens) the prosciutto is salty, didn't you know that?" "Not salty like that"i replied "Well what kind of businesswoman would I be if I gave refunds(also implying it happens enough that if she have refunds it would have an effect)"

She did not once offer any other concession, simply indignant position of "its a salty sandwich because of the prosciutto, that's not my fault"

I assured her I would compose a review online and definitely warn my co workers of the experience.....

Steer clear of this place, contrary to the reviews of"the owners really care!"and the like, the owner doesn't give a flip, email if you want an audio of...

All right I keep hearing about this junkyard sandwich, junkyard sandwich, top Philly junkyard sandwich and I'm not a big fan of spinach, so in the past I would not have tried this. But today I took a chance and I got to say this sandwich was great. I cannot believe I am eatten spinach. because it's so good.

Best hoagies in the area hands ✋ down. I would even go as far to say in the top 5 of the Philadelphia area and I know of some great locations in Philadelphia to get some great Hoagies AKA Subs. The staff here is always the kindness and always willing help you make the best choice with the freshest meat great bread and value for the price. By far the best hoagies I've ever had - ever. Unfortunately for the past year every single time I go in for a hoagie usually between 12-2 they're OUT of bread. I don't live in the area anymore so it's a huge disappointment everytine I am in the area around lunch time and I can't get a hoagie from my favorite place. I understand if they have a particularly busy day on occasion but this has been the case consistently about 8 or 9 times now. Sign says their open until 5 pm but they run out of rolls at 1-2pm every time I'm around. I don't know if it's poor planning when they order or they're just ordering enough for their quota and no more or if i just have the worst timing ever - either...
