Please note: this review is from their first week of operation, oct 2021. A lot of things can change well after a month of a brand new business opening, so take this review with a grain of salt if your reading this well into the future. I ordered online takeout through their website which is easy and straightforward. I also love how their system automatically texts you when your order is finished. Pickup is easy, they have a shelf for pickup orders by the register, and then you grab your drinks from the fridge. Very nice takeout experience. I ordered a Super Asada burrito and a Mexican sprite (they don't technically have fountain drinks like a typical restaurant, but the gas station that they are connected to does have them available. CKB serves Mexican coke, Jarritos, Horchata and other Hispanic cultural drinks.) The total cost was about $15. The burrito was really good, the Carne Asada base they use is different than what other chains like Qdoba or Moe's would use, but it still tastes good and well seasoned, texture just kinda threw me off at first. Another different from the other chains is that they used refried pinto beans instead of whole beans, which I prefer way more. The rest of the fillings are standard as usual and I have no complaints. The "Super" size is definitely a big boy burrito so only get it if you are really hungry, otherwise the "Chico" size will do you just fine. Honestly, the burrito was great, I just am unsure if I can justify the price for what you get. Would be nice to have a free side of chips at the least. With that said, really great burrito joint for the area, just be ready spend a bit more than the other burrito places. Definitely...
Read moreHORRIBLE!!!!!!! So we tried Crazy King back in September, and every burrito we had ordered was so salty we couldn't even eat them. Here it is March and we thought we would give them a second chance. Thinking that maybe the first time we got their food it was an off day or perhaps the cook just screwed up. But NO their food was still God awful salty!!!! Of the 3 burritos we ordered nobody finished any of them. Not sure what the hell they are doing down there but I will never go back and waste my money on their overpriced, horribly salty garbage ever again!!!! I would suggest taking my advice and find another restaurant if you're reading this. If anyone from the restaurant is reading this, I would love to know why the food is so dam salty!? The ground beef and steak tastes like the shredded beef jerky in the little chew cans!!! Get your spit together!!! This is unacceptable for the amount of money you're charging!!!! If I could give zero...
Read moreWe’ve gotten the food here several times. It’s very good - we enjoy the chicken tinga and Molida. The chicken tenders and fries are a good option for kids but the fries might be a bit spicy for younger ones. We have a few allergies in our family and love that toast tab has an allergen warning for take out orders. Even so, Crazy King Burrito does not advertise which sauces have the allergens and still include them in your order despite writing in allergy issues. We have also received orders with the allergens included despite including the allergen alert. The Stevensville location does not answer their phone either to assist with issues and were verbally aggressive with my husband when he tried to get a new order. We enjoy the food but having issues with being allergy friendly when it’s specifically included in the order information is very worrying and we can no longer trust CKB nor feel good with their attitude and...
