Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Lincoln Charter Township

I have been going here for years and never had an issue, other then typical small mistakes which are understandable. However, today we went in to buy an ice cream cake and we selected the strawberry cheesecake, then we noticed the label said it expired two days prior on the 9th. Because of this we asked if they would be willing to take off any percent of the cake. There is also a sign that states all display cakes are 25% off on Tuesday which is right before they expired. However when the manager came from up front we smelled Marijuana and she started ringing in without telling us how much she was willing to take off. We nicely asked how much and she rolled her eyes, snapped and said only 20. Which to us made no sense as it had already been expired and the cake was 2 weeks old at this point. I don't like the remodel. It's not as warm and inviting. There is no way to keep an organized line. We had a big group, so I thought a mistake was possible. What I didn't expect was for Abby to argue that she made a mistake. She yelled out that a particular blizzard was cookie party something or other when it was in fact a brownie extreme. So we ended up with an extra cookie party thing and down a brownie extreme, because she never fixed her mistake. Abby argued that we already got the brownie extreme but she never called one out. So my niece didnt get the blizzard she wanted, because it was called out as the wrong blizzard. Don't argue, just fix your mistake. Accidents happen, get it right and move on. They also have items on the menu that they don't have...

We drop by here frequently enough for quick ice cream. Not sure why. They're neither quick nor do they serve ice cream. I can understand if they're backed up and it takes a while to serve a line of cars out the drive-through in addition to the counter inside, but don't make us a couple blizzards 10 minutes before we arrive at the window then save face by 1) throwing a couple lids on the cups and 2) one (not two) free small blizzard coupon that expires in 2 days. We ended up with two cups of overflowing melted sweetened cream in the cupholders and not so much as a smile. This has been happening more frequently the past couple years.
