Delicious! We tried a bit of everything, both in our way in and out of the state! Lush tasty desserts! First let me share what we didn’t care for; wish they wouldn’t use coconut on the edges of everything, we got carrot cake thinking the edges were crushed nuts and to our surprise it was coconut, kinda an off putting flavor with carrot cake. Also tried a cannoli and it had coconut on the ends?! That was a first ever, completely changed the taste of what a cannoli should be. Last one we didn’t care for was the red velvet; the cake was dry and falling apart; and the frosting tasted like shorting not cream cheese. Our favorites were; Their Casablanca and mouse domed desserts are to melt in heaven for! Lemon bars and tarts were divine! Raspberry chocolate mousse to die for! Cinnamon bread and Epi loaves were superb and beyond tasty! Nice and light macaroons. Good Klotsky cookies. Yummy pudding cake! Decadent flourless chocolate cake; a tiny piece is enough; it’s like a rich lush truffle and superb!

I can’t say enough good things about Bit Of Swiss. It’s a charming little bakery with all kinds of delicious goodies. I went here today because I had a hankering for their bakery treats. It’s worth the drive for me. The staff is so kind and patient. They’ve never been rude or unkind to me whenever I’ve gone in here. I feel like my absolute favorite time was when they made these delicious peanut butter chocolate croissants for Ukraine. And then they donated the money to help the Ukraine, too. I stopped in today for the limoncello bundt cake. Usually, bundts are dry in my past experiences. Not this bundt. No way. It was soft and airy. Just nothing short of amazing! I like big bundts (in this case, little bundts) and I cannot lie. Bit Of Swiss is where it’s at. Do yourself a favor and check them out. They’re amazing. And it smells amazing heading into the bakery too. You won’t regret it.

The pastries were AMAZING!! I would highly recommend Bit of Swiss. It is definitely worth a stop if you are near by or Maybe up for a drive!!! The cookies, tarts, croissants (plain or ham & cheese - the ham and cheese were over the top....best I've ever had...hot or cold), danishes, breads, cakes, and much more...my family and I (8 of us) tried a variety of items and were amazed with everything!!! The employees were warm and friendly. Service was Great, even the other customers were so nice. I will definitely go again. It is worth the drive.....even 3 hours!

I would like to start by saying Bit of Swiss is my favorite bakery! The best bakery locally hands down! It’s always fresh, delicious and never disappointing. I knew since I was little I wanted to have them for my wedding cake & desserts from here!

Well, to be dissatisfied, disappointed and disrespected is just the start. I worked with Jessica to create my wedding order. We picked out mini pastries and a small cake. I signed a contract and was promised a delivery the day of my wedding around 3-3:30pm (30mins before my ceremony) so they would be set up for the reception.

The delivery person ( not Jessica but someone on her team) delivered the order at 10:00am in a hot barn, and it sat out all day melting. It is what is. Mistakes happen, it’s a wedding lots going on. It wasn’t that big of a deal.

A few weeks later - I thought I would call Jessica and give her some constructive feedback so it doesn’t happen for the next wedding. Just told her to make sure the desserts don’t get dropped off at 10am instead of 3pm and not let anyone know so they don’t all get ruined.

she thanked me for calling and apologized for the inconvenience! About 30 minutes later she called me back to tell me I WAS WRONG and that she confirmed with driver the desserts were dropped off at 3:30pm….

So I called her back, because I was so taken back that she was calling the customer back that was doing her a favor and giving feedback to tell her she was in the wrong and that I WAS LYING??!!!

I told her my photographer has photos of all the desserts and cake set-up (with time stamps). My husband arrive at the venue at 12pm and they were all set up. And not to mention guests couldn’t even eat the desserts because they were so melted and gross from sitting out since 10am!!

I then proceeded to contact Tim Foley - who felt terrible was very generous and told me what I did, contacting him was the right move. He said he was disappointed I had to go through all that and apologized.

I wouldn’t ORDER wedding cakes, desserts from Bit of Swiss! Stick with local pick up because they don’t know how to handle events!! I wasn’t that disappointed about the wedding desserts what I was disappointed about was how they treated me as a lifetime customer and called me a liar for just trying to help them...

I recently had Bit of Swiss cakes for my wedding. After being a loyal customer for years and working at their farmers market for summers in high school, there was no where else I would have wanted my cakes from. The cakes were delicious and beautiful, and we got so many compliments from our guests. We over ordered but had no leftovers!

However, our experience with ordering was frustrating. I called about 3 months before the wedding to place an order, and was told that it was too close to the wedding. After explaining that I wanted sheet cakes and one smaller cake, I was able to put down a deposit, but told there was no possibility of delivery. I was too late to do a tasting, so purchased cakes on my own from the bakery to try. When I called back to say what flavors I wanted, I was told that there wasn't an order placed yet and they again needed to confirm with the bakers that they could do it. My fiance then communicated with Bit of Swiss, and had to follow up several times to ensure that our order was right, after getting conflicting information from different staff.

Bit of Swiss definitely has the best desserts in the area and I am glad that we were able to use them as our vendor, but I was disappointed with the operations and communication throughout...

We used Bit of Swiss for our wedding this summer. I have to say that along with some of the other reviews, communication could have been better. The shop is really cute, but there is no public restroom, which i found weird. We Had a toddler with us and had to leave the tasting because they wouldn't let us use a restroom. The woman who did our tasting was very preoccupied with other things and gave us the desserts to taste, then left. We bought additional desserts so we could taste everything, and everything was good. We chose cupcakes and the lemon tarts. The Lemon tarts were the best thing we had tasted. I wasn't thrilled with the cupcakes they gave us at the tasting, but they were soooo good at the wedding. Not sure why they were different, but they were very good! Everything looked beautiful and tasted beautiful. We had a slight mixup picking up the desserts the day of, but thank God they made it. I spoke to the owner with my concerns and he was very kind and did everything he could to make up for it, and we really appreciated it. Everyone at the wedding raved about the desserts, and we were very happy with how they looked and how they tasted. We would use them again...
