First time visit. They weren't that busy and we got seated immediately. Food wasn't bad but my husband and I have had better. I can't recall the name, but we ordered a cheese appetizer that had chorizo, onions and peppers. A little soupy. The sauce appeared broken, like all the ingredients wouldn't come together with the cheese. A lot of our tortilla chips were too brown just shy of being burnt. I don't personally like pureed salsa. It didn't have much going for it. The spicy salsa was better, but a few bits of onion would go a long way. My husband had the Mexican pizza. He said it didn't have much flavor and it also was drowning in not so flavorful sauce. I had the combo plate which included a beef taco, tostada, enchilada and burrito. I liked the taco and tostada. Nothing special about the other two items which I took home. The waitress was nice and attentive. My only issue with service was a flighty woman who came aggressively to our table and was practically forcing us to box up our food and leave. There was another table with a couple who had been there longer than us and had actually finished eating, but she didn't approach them. I don't like being rushed and having someone clear dishes around me when I'm clearly not done with my food. There were plenty of open tables and booths, so it's not like we were keeping anyone from being seated. That being said, I took my time eating my food and packed up when I was good and ready; no...
Read moreThis is going to be a long read. I will start off by saying my boyfriend and I have been coming here for 12 years and this WAS our favorite spot. The food used to always be amazing and the service was great. I've started to notice the food being slightly off a couple years ago, one being my food tasted like cleaner. It was only once in a while that it wasn't the amazing food we were used to. Now, this year, the last several times the food was inedible. From the beans being scorched, the rice unseasoned and the meat tasting like something(not food) just something weird.
Today was the last straw. I order enchilada dinner with ground beef and onion. My boyfriend orders the burrito dinner with beef and cheese.
The cheese on my enchiladas was past it's date. It was expired. Since I'm not one that likes to send my food back because I feel bad and I dont trust the next dish to come out with a side of spit.
When I tell you that cheese tasted like 2 day old milk left in a sippy cup. It was foul.
Unfortunately, with the prices jumping 12 dollars on our bill and every single time something being nasty. We will not be spending our money at Panchos anymore. Not even the one in wyandotte.
Im sorry, Panchos. But, whatever yall got going on within the last 3 years ain't...
Read moreThis Place has OK Mexican food but the facility is not very clean. The Longoria Cashier and waitress Are the rudest people I have ever met in my life. Every time I walk in the place they are rude, however last night I called in an order. went in to pick up my order they prepared the wrong food for me. when I said that it was not what I ordered the cashier looked at me like I was stupid, then said they would have to remake it like it was an inconvenience for her. I said OK because I did not like what they prepared and then a gentleman walked in placed his order. Those two Longoria woman made sure his order was made before mine. I had already waited 30 minutes for the original order and it was their mistake and I ended up waiting another 27 minutes for the correct order. Because of these two old rude woman I will never return to any of ponchos establishments again and I will make sure all of my Facebook family and friends do not go there as well. It is not just the food that makes the facility!! it is mostly the service and these two women should be ashamed of how they treat people and definitely not be in customer service. Very...
