Savvy Sliders — Restaurant in Lincoln Park

First off, I only decided to go here because I received a mailer with coupons. I used the one for a free chocolate shake with a combo box purchase. Online, the menu differs from the restaurant. The Box Combo #1 was a "choose two sliders" option. I chose the Big Signature slider (double patties with everything) and the breaded, fried chicken with "Boom" sauce. I think the menu called it the Booming Chicken but I could be wrong. The fries come plain unless you opt for seasoning. I picked the Cajun seasoning. They also offer lemon pepper and two others, I cannot recall.

The double burger slider was excellent. That was the first thing I reached for after a sample of a few fries (who doesn't eat fries first?). Cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious.

After more fries, which are heavily seasoned (I would ask for plain next time or lightly seasoned), I went for the "Boom" sauced chicken slider. Most places have very weak heat when it comes to their so-called spicy chicken sandwiches. This one was done right. Quality chicken with all the fresh toppings fit my palate well.

The amount of food was more than appropriate. I couldn't finish the fries. The complimentary chocolate shake, made with custard, was quite the treat. A nice addition.

Will I go here again? Without a doubt. This place is an unfound gem, well deserving of the 5/5 stars. I appreciated the professional, friendly service, prompt attentiveness and a greeting as soon as I walked through the door.

This location is not a good one to visit. Outside of the establishment building and crap parking lot being horrible... its a fun place to go if you are down to have a bad experience with getting your food you order. Don't recommend as a lunch spot or anything to stop at if your in a hurry to pickup food and go, and if you do I WOULD HIGHLY SUGGEST you take extra time to check all your food boxes and bags they give you.

The staff has a massive issue with counting numbers, if you order a combo box the quantity of items you may give will depend. Sometimes a combo box for 3 chicken strips you end up getting 1 in the box, guess the other two were probably a quick lunchtime snack foe the workers to enjoy.

Getting some extra stuff on burgers? 50/50 chance you get what you asked for.

You want to speak to a manager.... uhhhh let me put you on hold for 5 minutes to tell you there isn't a manager here. I can write your name down for free food credit to come down and tell us your name to get food. No I can't assist you with the app and no I won't write your information down so a manager can call you back.

I'll drive out of my way to find a better location than this dumb of a spot to get food from if I ever desire to eat at a Savvy ever again. Poor staffing ruined Savvys for me and few others so hasn't been worth it for...

I have been wanting to go to this place for a while. Yesterday, i finally decided to go with my wife and daughter. It was my first time at savvy. So when i went inside, i told the guy joking around to give me like 45 mins to go through the menu. And he said i got you , i can explain it in 2 minutes. he wasn't lying . He explained everything so well that i had to give him a bump fist . He was so polite and professional. Even my wife and daughter told me they liked his personality, and i agreed . He was very helpful and i told him that it was our first time there. And he said, "Don't worry, you'll like it. And we sat down and ate and wow, everything was so good . And not only the food was great, the place was clean. And the guy came over to our table to ask us. How was the food and if everything was ok. I thought that was very nice of him. And we told him that it was soooo good. And we really enjoyed everything. So i asked him for his name, and he said Anthony . And to have someone who cares about his job and takes a moment to explain the menu and the way he did it 🙏 like he was happy to help. That made us feel comfortable in this place. I told him i was going back with my family and with my sons. First time there, and it was amazing. The food was awesome and especially the service from Anthony. Great guy and definitely going back. .
