This restaurant always has good tasting food and the prices are not at all ridiculous. In fact one of my favorite dishes (despite some inconsistencies with it) is the Super Nacho. Everything all together just tastes fantastic and they make it in two sizes: small and large. You would be absolutely hard-pressed to tell the difference between the two, except the couple of dollars difference in price.
They make a good enchilada sauce too, especially for their Enchiladas Suizas (they spell it Swisas). There really has not been anything that I have tried that I did not like, however, certain dishes they make can be rather inconsistent at times. The super nacho, for example, sometimes has way less of one or more ingredients, the chips can be rather burnt and sometimes they forget to remove the refried beans when asked - not a deal breaker, just an annoyance.
The biggest issue that I have with some of the dishes is the fact that they put them on a foil-lined paper plate and because of cheese or sauce or any number of things, you eventually end up cutting off chunks of aluminium foil and eating them. Not really appetizing.
The only food that I have ever complained about from here, and consistently complain about, is their guacamole. Their fresh chips are excellent, but the guacamole just never tastes good at all. It tastes like dish soap and if you know what commercial (restaurant grade) dish sanitizer smells like, it has that sort of smell to it at times. I just do not order it anymore. It is very expensive for the portion sizes too.
Overall this is a great place to eat if you like family-style Mexican food. The flavors are good and the prices are too, with plenty of variety to...

Read moreI would've given them a one, except a small portion of the blame fell on me. I had ordered 4 soft shelled flour tacos over the phone and told them that I would be there in only two minutes as I was on the road already. They took my contact info and then waited until I arrived to actually put the order in. So I waited. When they came out the wait staff placed the order in a plastic bag which made it hard to check, but how do screw up a simple order? Well. they did. When I arrived home and looked, they were deep fried. So, I called and complained. They promised to fix it if I returned. Again, no order placed until I arrived so I had to wait again for 4 soft shelled tacos. Also, the beef is low grade and greasy. There was more than a tablespoon of oil at the bottom of the take out box after the only ten minutes it took...
