$47 for (2) build your own omelets, an OJ, coffee, and a short stack of chocolate chip pancakes (before tip). Overpriced for the quality food, which was, on average, not good. The omelet was good, and cooked nicely, though a bit on the small side. That's the best part of the meal. The rest was pretty bad. The oil-fried home fries must be using a shared oil with fish, because that's all I could taste on the breakfast potatoes - Fish...just awful. The grilled English were grilled using oil, not butter. Again, horrid taste, like a used spatula. Use butter. Oil on a grilled English leads to a nice crisp but a terrible taste. The pancakes required stretching your neck to force down the swallow because they were so dry and spongy, even after trying to fix it by adding more and more syrup. Nobody ever asked, "How is everything?" Once the food was served, they only came back with the bill. No other interaction after ordering. Staff was friendly, and the place was clean and well lit. If not for that, the review would be worse. 3/10 stars. There are better and less expensive options. This place might have some promise with changes. **Edit - there are several highly questionable reviews (in my opinion) from people with very few reviews in total. That can be a sign of staged or fake reviews. I always look for reviews by Google guides, which typically have dozens and dozens, if not hundreds of reviews, for truly objective reviews. Came in for breakfast with my daughter early one morning. Service was great. Food was delicious. The problem I have is the price/amount. Yes this is Lincoln but it’s lonsdale. I had the French toast special on the menu (cinn sugar ft with caramel and bananas)

1. it was very good! I couldn’t stop saying how good it was but where were the bananas. I got it because I like bananas on my FT. They were the tiniest slices from the thinnest banana. if I’m paying $13 for this and bananas are still extremely cheap per pound, put a whole banana on there for the price. If you want to be fancy in a lower income area then you need to put the right amount on the food.

The other problem I have is my daughter had an egg white sandwich. Bread and one egg white. It was $6.50. I’ve breakfast waitressed for 20 years I understand charging for items and not taking money off for not having cheese on it but that’s just exorbitant. The extra 1.50 for an egg white on a 1cracked egg sandwich doesn’t make sense

It wasn’t an egg white from a carton it was one cracked egg white. If she had 2 or 3 eggs that would be an understandable price but not for a cracked egg and 2 slices of toast.

I’d love to keep coming back since I live right down the street but I can’t if the prices remain that way and the amount of food isn’t comparable...

I ordered a pressed Cuban sandwich and I was given an over toasted and dry hoagie sandwich! I also ordered and open faced cali omelette and they didn’t include the avocado. I called to express the concerns with my order and asked to return it for my money back. I was placed in hold for her to determine if I was lying about missing avocado with the person who prepared my order, and then proceeded to tell me they don’t sell pressed sandwiches anymore. I explained per their menu and pictures online, they are false advertising and I was misled. She replied that their food is as is and there was nothing she can do. She asked me to call her back in 5 minutes so that she can speak with the owner to inquire on my refund request and when I called back, I was advised that since I left with my TAKE OUT order that they can’t give me my money back. I asked to speak to the manager, and the person, named heidy or Sadie told me she was the manager. I asked for the owner who she confirmed denied my refund request and she stated she was out of the country and that they will not be allowing me to return my order or get a refund! I asked for the owners name and she refused to give me that information. Never again. If I could leave a negative 5 star review,I would. Accountability goes far and as a business this is not...
