Honey Dew Donuts — Restaurant in Lincoln

They are the best value as far as donuts, sandwiches and munchkins (donut holes) go. If they have a donut you want but it doesn't have frosting and/or sprinkles, they will go out back and make it the way that YOU or more importantly your KIDS or even more importantly YOUR PREGNANT WIFE, want it.

Unlike some lazy people at Dunkin who can do the same but, in my experience 99.9% will NOT do that and it seems that it is too much work for them to do that. It seems Honey Dew associates are trained to do that like, duh why would I not? You're the customer, my goal is to get you what you want at a price that you're glad to pay because, well damn look at that big donut with all that stuff you wanted, you're full and you got money left over, what more would a customer want?

Not to mention their eggs IMHO taste better. I mean, i know they're both like, frozen egg patties or something (maybe not) but to me, it's better. Except for the cup of scrambled eggs, with potatoes and meat. Just an FYI, if you've ever microwaved anything to do with potatoes and you can remember that chewy, rubbery, blah paste taste in your mouth from those radioactive spuds and you didn't like it...stay away or the taste of their scrambled egg cups will haunt you for the rest of your life (as it will mine).

However, if you like that taste and can stand it...What the hell is wrong with you...? You should be taste testing experimental NASA space foods for that trip to Uranus, which is straight where that food is headed anyway, next to Urkiddingme and Urgarbage.

Coffee is a little bit more, but their mocha madness is so worth it. Unless you're a diabetic in which case you have no business drinking this sugary awesomeness anyway. Unless you didn't find out you were diabetic until you drank this on the way to the doctors office and found out your glucose was at 500 something, then you got problems.

I come here daily for a med iced mocha madness 4 creams only and I get a turkey sausage egg and cheese on English.. first problem most of the staff look miserable and never smile, my coffee is never consistent it always tastes different and most times wasted! My English muffins comes out with the surface toasted but the rest of the muffin is cold. They need to toast the English muffin so it’s actually toasted and not just heated!! And then god forbid you say something is wrong, you get the worse look ever.. there is one employee there in the a.m. , she is a chunky woman with blonde hair! She has the worse personality ever and never has a smile on her face! Smiles are free your crew should use them more, or if they don’t like their jobs find a new one! So disappointing because you’re right around the corner from my house, but I’m considering find a new location! Oh and lastly tell them to actually fill The cups with ice I get like 12 pieces...

Why is there a review of someone complaining about the front being closed. In case you guys didn't know, there’s staffing shortages. It’s hard to keep both a drive through and inside of a store running when 1-2 people are working. You should be happy honey dew has persevered through the pandemic and that they can still offer their business. Also why do you need to go inside so bad at 5 in the morning? It’s not even full hours that the inside is closed. Employees don’t just decide to close the front I wanna see people try to work when there’s 5 people in store and at the drive through and you’re alone.
