came in early this Sunday with my girlfriend for a early breakfast date like we normally do we have gone to another location and it’s always been great, decided to go to this location this time spent $25 on 2 breakfast burritos and I got some iced tea that was out in a spout next to the water that’s out for public use. I thought because the tea was next to the water in the public it would be okay to drink it with my meal, me and my girlfriend had an amazing meal together and I went back to get some more tea because the cups are tiny. When I returned to my table the lady working there came up to me and my girlfriend while we were talking and confronted me saying it’s not fair to everyone else and not fair for the restaurant that I’m drinking the tea. She said I’m only suppose to try the tea, she was extremely rude about it, made it seem like I was stealing and all I was doing was having my date with my girlfriend at 7am trying to have a nice quiet morning. I felt extremely confronted and thought she could have been WAY nicer to me. I spend a lot of money here and getting treated like I was stealing something was extremely rude. There was no sign that the tea wasn’t for public use and it was out in the open next to the water. I did go online and paid for a drink using there website before leaving because I would never want to take away from any business. if you can’t handle customers coming in early trying to have a quiet morning date spending time together please don’t work customer service at a breakfast place. I was extremely nice and constantly was saying thank you. this has ruined my Sunday morning and I hate the way you made me look infront of other customers and my...
Read moreExtremely GROSS disappointing experience today. Went with a couple of other people and one of us ordered a salad. It looked gorgeous, but as she began to eat, there was a big glob of disgusting, rotting, liquefied spring mix in the middle. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I assume they didn't know it was there. She wondered if maybe they put bad spring mix on the plate then covered it up with good. Whatever the case, it was a super nasty surprise.
They offered to remake it, but she was so put off by the experience that she asked for a sandwich instead. The guy said it would be no problem, and we were all grossed out, but rolled with it. He then came back and asked her for the $1.20 difference between the sandwich and salad. And I'm not trying to sound entitled to anything for free, but this goopy lettuce was SO nasty, and it was 100% their fault. They had the opportunity to make it right at a cost to them of $1.20. Its nothing to either side of this transaction, but says everything about how they run this business. The guy was incredibly condescending, "It was JUST, like, 1 piece of lettuce!" No - it absolutely was not. It was a big glob of ROT, and all this liquidy, decomposing lettuce was clinging to everything it had touched. It was disgusting, and said so much about the effort they put into their food preparation.
In the end, she got her money back, but she put a dollar + change in the tip jar, and frankly, they should have given that back...
Read moreI will not be coming back here for a while. Sandwich was good, coffee was not, but the service really killed my mood this morning. They could not handle the morning rush despite how many employees they had. The person who helped us came up, asked for the first item of our orders from me and my partner, and then pushed us to the end after he finished making those 2 items. By that time, 3 other servers with their customers had gone around us because of how long it took. He did not check back if we wanted anything else, and by the time he pushed us to the register, it was too late to ask for anything else, it was already holding up the line. The service was bad with no communication, and neither of us even got half of what we wanted to order because of how things were handle by the staff member we got. I hope that everyone who had to walk around us got what they wanted, because their servers seemed like they had a better...
