Came in for lunch on a Sunday. There was a pretty decent crowd but not so bad that we (group of 6) couldn't be seated immediately. The waiter was prompt, friendly and addressed any need we had. I ordered from the A La Carte and had 1 steak and 1 carnitas street taco, 1 tamale and the rice. The tamale with green pork sauce was my favorite item that I ordered, so delicious. The carnitas street taco was the second best item I ordered. The steak taco was a bit dry, I should have asked for a sauce that wasn't the mango habanero salsa. The rice was pretty forgettable, not really any flavor. My wife ordered the Ceviche de Camerón. She enjoyed the dish, but didn't love it. The shrimp was pickled (?) as she described it, not fresh. It also needed some spice or seasoning. It just seems incomplete. Everyone else liked their food (chicken quesadilla, shrimp quesadilla, enchiladas sunrise and tostada) with the exception being the first tostada came out and the chicken was as cold as the lettuce and tomatoes that were in it. It was quickly addressed and a new plate of food was brought out. Nothing will keep us from coming back...
Read moreWe've been here multiple times, and usually the food and service are good. This time, the waiter checked on us initially and we were not ready so we figured they'd check on us maybe 5 minutes later. The waiter didn't check on us again for 25 minutes (we had to flag him down). We got our order in and it took another 40 minutes to get our food, and when we got our food it was ice cold. We had to flag down our waiter once again to ask where our food was and as soon as we did, he brought our food out. So he forgot about it in the window, and still brought it out knowing it would be cold. We said our food was cold, they took it back into the kitchen and threw it in the microwave for 2 minutes. It came back and the quality of the food was not good anymore. And to top it off, they didn't give us a discount or anything. It was also not busy in there at all. Extremely disappointing experience, and we will most likely...
Read moreMy wife and I have gone here twice now. We lived in Houston for 15 years so we have experienced the best of Tex Mex food. That said the food here is not bad. It's not as good as Houston but it's a whole lot better than everywhere else we've been in Nebraska. The decor is fitting for the type of restaurant it is. Seating is comfortable. Ambience is good. The music is slightly louder than I would prefer as at times it's hard to carry on a conversation. Don't think it's a problem with the volume more the acoustics of the building. We sat in different locations each time both places were equally hard to carry on a conversation. The wait staff gets five stars. They all seem very happy and have a great attitude. It does get a little busy here however both times we went we were immediately seated and did not have to wait. In summary we will...
