We chose it for our date night a bit ago. There were only a few tables occupied and we were seated right away. They mentioned how much slower it is on game days. 2 different kinds of salsa, the mild was pretty plain, husband loved the spicy one. Chips were especially good!
My husband went all in and ordered the Molcajete Carne. If you are unfamiliar it is a ginormous hot stone bowl filled with All the meats, plus some veggies, etc. in the bottom. Rice, beans, guac, pico, cheese, and tortillas on the side. Totally in hog heaven. He was rather indiscriminate about the various meats, all were tender and flavorful. He did mention it was the best seasoned chicken he'd had in ages!
The main reason we finally made it in was cuz I had seen a pic of Fish Tacos on their Facebook page and was like That! I Want That! I have ordered this dish at dozens of places and these were without question The Best I've ever had!!! Tilapia was seasoned perfectly, it was basically shredded which incorporated the other ingredients so much better in my opinion. Pico was great, fresh Avocado and Mango to garnish, So Freaking Delicious! I had them leave off the Chipotle sauce cuz it's not for me. My only mistake was that I forgot to sub my sides but my kids really enjoyed the rice and refried beans. Didn't need the sides anyways, I ate So Much, nearly cleaned my plate!
Service was also Top Notch! Julio was enthusiastic and full of energy and the ladies that were also on the floor helped fill in any gaps. Great teamwork! They have an extensive Margarita selection with a few unique choices. I ended my meal with the Julian Marg which included orange with the lime. This is a favorite combo of mine, huuuuge glass, Perfection!

We got tacos al carbon, enchiladas Verdes and chipotle enchiladas. The meat on the tacos was chewy and not flavorful, the salsa was watery and possibly one of the worst I've ever tasted. The enchiladas Verde barely any sauce and so all we could taste was tortilla and dry chicken which leads me to point out there wasn't much sauce on the chicken either. The enchiladas chipotle sauce tasted exactly like a store bought herdez creamy chipotle salsa. Same flavor profile, same consistency, same color, same spice level...I think you get the point here.
But the worst offender of them all was the rice and beans - After the other disappointing food I was really looking forward to the sides. Unfortunately the beans were quite oversalted and the rice was bland. I'm Mexican and I do not remember the last time I didn't finish those, they are hard to screw up.
Food was 1 star But I gave it 2 since staff was...
