I order Goodcents alot! Not only do Inorder for personal but order frequently for my dept/staff meetings. This is the first time I had placed an order with northern lights store. I placed an order for delivery. 15 mins after my order I got a call. She stated they were out of all soups. She stated she would give me a refund. I asked for one soup to be changed to jalapeno chips. She stated okay. 5 mins later I received another call stating my order was ready but unfortunately she didn't know there was no delivery driver so I would have to come pick it up. I drove the 20 mins into town. When I got there, the gal at the window said "I am sorry, I am not able to fill out your soup order". I let her know that someone had called to let me know about it. I asked if the meatball sub could be remade as it has sat there for over 20 mins and then my travel home was 20 mins. She told me she would ask a manager. She returns with my food. I asked if the meatball sub was remade and she said no, but she could put it under the toaster again. I said forget it. She handed me our drinks with the ice almost melted but wouldn't redo it. I drove off. I called the store shift lead. I asked him why I didn't get to talk to him. He didn't know. I asked why the sandwich couldn't have been remade as it was no longer fresh. He said "That would be a waste of food for our company". I said, but I am paying for a fresh sandwich He said it was sorry but couldn't do it. We also are missing the jalapeno chips we had them replace a soup for. He couldn't tell me if we were charged for these "Probably not, the other shift lead is gone so I don't know". My daughter's meatball sub was already burned so glad I didn't let her put it in the toaster. My drinks have no ice in them now that I am home either. I have NEVER had bad service from Goodcents but today was a different story unfortunately. I will continue ordering but never from the northern...
Read moreThis new 84th location is a great place to grab a quick meal. Whether you want to eat in store, have your meal delivered or to have food catered to a party or office. I have experienced all. They serve a nice variety of quality subs with heavenly soft bread, choice dressings and condiments, pastas, soups, salads and dessert. All delicious and fresh!! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The service exceptional both in store and delivery service. This store is very clean and smells of fresh baked bread. The drive thru is fast and efficient with its computerized touch screen. The management at this location has put the time and effort into training the employees to be efficient and to provide phenomenal customer service… which shows. If you need catering, they are more than happy to personalize your order. The sandwich trays are fantastic for groups of people. I love that they provide all the toppings on the side and they also provide all the condiments in small squeeze bottles, so the sandwiches can be dressed by individual preference. Which is always a BIG HIT!! They also have an app to download so you accumulate points and get rewarded with free food. (BONUS) Don’t forget to check out their specials as well – Especially on Sunday’s! This Goodcents never disappoints and will continue to...
Read moreI would have given this Goodcents 5 stars in the past. However, a few things have changed that I really don't like. The first problem is that I really don't like their new rewards system. I don't know why they changed it. The old rewards system was simple. With each purchase, you earned a balance that you could either save or use with each visit, and it wasn't a convoluted point system. An employee would tell you that you have a balance of (Insert dollar cents amount) and that was it. It was kind of like earning cash back on a credit card. The new system is unnecessarily complicated in comparison.
The second problem is I don't like the new beverage machine they installed at this location. The old machine had a touch screen with many different flavors. Take a look at my pictures to see what I am talking about. Switching to a machine with limited choices is a downgrade! Boo!
Also, a small irritation, the last time I was there. I clearly said I wanted a 12" inch sandwich. I was handed, and charged for, an 8" sandwich. The guy who prepared my sandwich looked like he had a rough day, but it's important to pay attention. He could have avoided this mistake if he repeated what he thought he heard before...
