On a whim to avoid rush hour traffic after using UPS, we decided China House looked good. The food was the best Chinese Ive had in a long time. It was different, not just the same old, same old. I had sesame chicken which had a little bite but not too much. I dont care for "hot" food. I ate roughly half and took the rest home. Gone by morning. Oops!!! My husband had pork and broccoli. The pork was like bbq burnt ends. Delicious. There was broccoli in both our entrees-obviously w his. Steamed. It was great. Steaming broccoli correcting is an art form. Theres nothing fancy about this place. Laid back. Order from the counter from a paper menu. Eat in or take out. Ice cold beverages available from a cooler. Two weeks ago we ordered three orders of springs rolls and two orders of Bean Curd Home Style Tofu. That night, after eating these Chinese food, my family (including my little baby girl) got severe stomach cramps and other digestive problems(I will not go into details). Fortunately we had some good probiotics at hand. Needless to say we did not eat the second order. I called the restaurant to notify them and they told me that they have never ever been told that there is problem with their food. They did NOT offer to make it right it any way.
I don't think I'll go back after this incident. I'm too afraid of their food.
