D'Leon's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Lincoln

You have to come here when certain cooks are preparing food. This time we went here, the food was terrible 😔. We ordered a "Super Fry" for my granddaughter (who usually cleans her plate) "Carne asada plate" & "Cowboy burrito" for my husband and I ordered a "Beef Tortas Sandwich". Just my husband ate 1/2 of his food and that was the "Cowboy burrito".

The Super Fry's were cold with dry meat on them -no guac, no sour cream, no tomatoes! Just an overload of onion's and jalapenos. My granddaughter didn't ask for that - just a normal super fry's. She did not finish her food only ate less than 1/4 of them. The Carne sada plate, meat was dried out + over cooked. Hubby did not eat after first bite

Beef Tortas - just beef and gauc sauce on it, on a regular non toasted bun. I only took 2 bites.

**This DeLeon used to be the Very Best one to go out of all of them, but this time and the last time we went here, it was Terrible. Must be a new cook.

✨Sorry for the bad review, but someone needs to see how the cooks are preparing food here. Especially how expensive everything is today, when you spend $60 ++, you kind of looking for...

Food has gone down hill over the past few years. I mainly eat the burritos and rolled tacos from here. For sometime now, every item I order comes with the ingredients looking like it was put together at McDonald's. Cream cheese is all on one side, shredded cheese melted into a puddle at the bottom of the Styrofoam, guacamole looks/tates like it was in the microwave way too long. The home made hot sauce used to be one of my favorite reasons to get a burrito here, full of flavor(nice and spicy). Now it's watered down and doesn't seem like it's made by the batch anymore. I understand some things you have to streamline in a business in order to grow. But overall, the food preparation, and customer service/interation has gone significantly down in recent years. I won't be eating here again anytime soon.

P.s. Why doesn't every location have flavored churro's anymore? Only found one location that still carrys flavored churros. Another...

I have to give them a three because their totals for the same order fluctuate from day to day. Also they offer a program in which they give them 10 receipts you get a free burrito however they flip flop on which receipt you need to keep they give you two of them I've been told it's the long receipts and the short receipts I've been rejected for having both types of receipts for the free burrito so just make sure you keep both receipts if you want to cash in on that free burrito. Quality of food at this location really varies depending on who's cooking and who's taking orders Elsa depends on how much salsa get sometimes you'll get one cup and sometimes will get no salsa unless you ask for it if you want more than two cups you'll need to pay $0.20 for salsa afterwards I really wish that this place was as good as it used to be the standards just...
