This a friend of mine's complaint. They experienced unacceptably rude customer service.
We had the worst experience ever at the 84th and Highway 2 Dairy Queen tonight. My family stopped there to get ice cream for our “first day of school/brothers first day of college”. We ordered 2 blizzards, a chocolate ice cream crunch cone, and a cherry dipped cone. We waited in line patiently for our ice cream to be made but my mom noticed hers wasn’t chocolate, to which she informed one of the girls working that it needed to be chocolate. It was remade into a CHOCOLATE DIPPED CONE. How can you put crunch pieces on a hardened dipped cone? She informed them it was chocolate ice cream not dipped, since she ordered a crunch cone. The lady who rang us up said that the workers could put the crunch stuff on the cone, but when a girl in the back was making it she said “um no she can put it on herself”, and put the crunch stuff in a cup for my mom to dip it herself, ok fine. So as the girl is remaking the CHOCOLATE ICECREAM CONE she made very rude remarks about how we can’t “makeup our minds” like we couldn’t hear her. She made a comment about us again and my mom said, “Can you be any ruder, this isn’t our fault.” And the girl told my mom to shut up. She then told us we needed to come back there and get our OWN STUFF BECAUSE IT WAS GOING TO BE AWHILE. Seriously? It’s going to be awhile to make a chocolate ice cream cone that was ordered to begin with! I bet that girl rolled her eyes 12 times. Never in my life has someone been that disrespectful when the problem was not on us. We ordered exactly what we wanted, not our fault she didn’t read the order right. We will not be going back to that Dairy Queen until she no longer works there. I’ve never seen someone act so rudely in my life over something that was...

I completely understand that there was an after school/last day rush, but that doesn't justify s* attitudes. There was one employee in front taking orders and she was getting overwhelmed so another gal (darker complection with pink hair) who came up to help take orders. The expression on her face couldn't have been more annoyed. When it came time to order myself her tone and facial expressions gave the impression she hated everything about this shared experience and was very unwelcoming. As she proceeded to go behind the wall and make some orders she could be heard by myself and my daughter loudly using profanity.
