This was my first time at this new Runza location (formerly Braeda) and I was impressed with the atmosphere. The floor plan is very large, spacious, and includes TV's and a digital fireplace. However, the service was perhaps the worst I have ever experienced. My fries were a little overcooked but not to the point of making a complaint. After finishing my meal I decided to get a chocolate mini shake for 1$. They made the mini shake in front of me and noticed that the machine was out of chocolate syrup. Rather than replace the syrup, they handed me the off-white ice cream and said if I didn't like it to bring it back up. (I have no idea why you would ever serve a customer a product you know is not right.) Of course, I ended up being displeased and asked if they could fix the machine and make me a new one. The first response is "we are all out of syrup but we can get you a discount." At which point a worker in the back said he can change out the syrup in 5 minutes which I said would be fine. However, a third worker said she would just mix the chocolate in herself and she proceeded to do that. I have to say this basically resulted in a vanilla ice cream with a lot of chocolate at rest in the bottom of the cup. It lacked appeal and the taste was equally bad. I am quiet disappointed with the service I received at this Runza and will likely never return. I truly feel that they just wanted to avoid replacing the syrup in the machine rather than serve me. They could hardly mask their contempt that I would come up and expect them to fix their mistake. Their contempt was made more clear when we walked right by an employee on our way out and they failed to even say "thank you for coming in" or "have a nice evening." In short, I would not recommend visiting this location as you will not likely...
Read moreI took my car in for tires at Sam's club when I realized they took away ALL seating. Needing a place to hangout for 2 hours, I walked to Arbys where I discovered they had no seating either. Not being a covid freak, this inconvenience is starting to p@#% me off. Went next door to Runza....dining room was open thank goodness. This particular Runza has the best atmosphere and that, for me, is just as important as food quality. The food was as expected....not bad but not great either. Even though prices go up, the runza filling gets less. I always get the swiss mushroom runza. This visit, the runza had plenty of filling....but there have been times when the filling was little more than a...
Read moreI live in Texas and never heard of this restaurant. I was traveling and stopped for a night to sleep. This place was close to my room so I walked over and asked the kid what I should get. He suggested the "Spicy Jack Runza". Then some other employee walks up and tells me to get the "Southwest Runza"...so what do I do, I bought both haha. I have to say I was crazy happy and full. The very next day bought the same 2 and on my way back to Texas, found the last Runza on my way home and bought the same 2. It has been 5 months and now I am thinking about my next trip up to a state that has one. Anyhow, I am a happy...
