While I was excited to finally try Chef Lee's amazing style of Asian delights, I was thoroughly Disappointed in the presentation of the front of the house and the overall feel. When we walked in I was looking for the Kiosks to order but all of them were not working. We were looking for King crab but since we could not order using the Kiosk we had to grab a menu, one of many just tossed around like napkins in the breeze. I mean they were all over the counters and tables. Ordering became a bit tedious as there was no one to ask questions to? the two employees working the registers were more interested in talking to each other rather than asking us if we needed help. The pictures of the food at each station are worn and tattered. They really need to be replaced. The overall feel was terrible even for a Casino Cafeteria style restaurant. The back of the house was very professional I will say they moved in synchrony around the kitchen calling out orders and next steps very well trained and prepared staff in back. The front of the house however erodes so much of their hard work.
I had expected so much more from a restaurant that Chef Lee as put his reputation into. it is a far far cry from what I believe would be appropriate to him. from non functioning Kiosks to menus strewn around the entire restaurant to tattered dull and generally bad looking pictures of his great creations.
On to the good part. The food itself. I ordered general Tao and chicken wings with house Sauce, I was very impressed with the overall flavor and texture of each chunk of delightful chicken. it was cooked and tossed very very well. The chicken wings were a tad overcooked as they were dry on the outside and very crispy with a hint of burnt chicken, however the sauce made up for it and I really ended up enjoying them.
I gave my 3 stars 1 for the overall look and feel of the front of the house 2 lack of attention from the front staff 3 if not for the amazing kitchen being visible I would have given less stars.
I hope Chef Lee comes back to visit and makes the adjustments to ensure it lives up to his...

Tonight my partner and I went to Emerald Bay Food Hall and ordered 2 pork chops and rice. When we picked up the pork chop order from the Vietnamese section my partner asked for some hoisin sauce. The woman who worked there with a dyke hairstyle (spikes and manly) raised her voice and said “why do you need this??!!! You did not order Pho!”. My partner even offered to pay for the sauce and she continued to yell at him. We had no issues with Emerald Bay Food Hall before they were extremely nice and accommodating but this is the first time we have seen this employee. This employee must be new. Please teach your employees some respect 🫡...
Read moreI don't know why people expect so much service from a self serve ordering place. There are HUGE kiosks and you pre-pay for your food. There are different categories and regions for your food. They have HUGE screens that show your food is being prepared and then ready. What are people going to do when AI takes over?
Anyway, I love the food here...I always get the duck noodle soup with Ho Fun Noodles. I've had the pho and it's also great. Yes it's $25 but people throw $25 on a table to lose in a second? I don't get it. It's a huge portion as well with a Deep bowl. What more do you...
