As I walk into the front door, all of my senses immediately perk up. My ears pick up the chatter of men and women alike coming down from a long day on their feet. My nose picks up the aroma of spices which have traveled from far and wide to blend into masterpiece of bud soothing taste. My eyes draw in the majesty that is the Isle itself. Such is the atmosphere that you are whisked away to a place far from the normal. A place like no other. Going into this establishment, I had my doubts. I had it in my mind that no one can do pizza better than New York. I mean come on, it's New York right? So there you have it. Those were my thoughts as I opened the front door to what would become greatest surprise. Imagine living your life under the one rule you've always believed to be true. No one else does it better than those at home. Lincoln Nebraska is not home. Far from it, yet that's not a bad thing at all. I have found that the city here has much to offer. Recreation, sports, culture, and of course food. And the Isle has done me proud. Oh my how they have. As I wander into the perfectly lit dinning room, I see now what I have gotten myself into. I am transported to, what seems to me, another world. One where the moment you step in, your worries step out. Your hunger no longer pains you as it has now become excitement and anticipation. Your mouth seems to taste flavors with no earthly origin. All this and you haven't even made it to the table yet. We order our customary waters and begin to look at a tight and well thought out menu. Simple in it's layout, yet complex with it's incredible selections and pizza options. I want to give a shout out to the staff as well. I did not get her name ( and trust me I'm not proud of myself for that) but she was amazing. I'm not a huge pop drinker anymore, so my go to is coffee. At this time of the night ( this was around 9:30pm) I was wanting a little taste of something other than water. Our server went out of her way to put a fresh put on just for one cup. I am very happy with the level of service. Trust me, you'll see what I mean. Go into the Isle with an empty belly and open heart. Ease your mind with a drink at the bar, or sit back and enjoy a slice while watching the game. Thank you for exciting my pallet and satisfying my belly. This is one food experience I will not soon forget. 5/5

I would just like to thank the employees of The Isles Pub & Pizza for an awesome evening. Our waitress Katie took really good care of us from beginning to end. The occasion was my youngest son's 21st birthday and we were all thirsty to celebrate with him. When we first showed up we went to sit at a table up front. When they saw our group size, they recommended a table in the back. We got to sit right in front of a huge TV with the Red Sox game on! The Copper Alt by Zipline was on tap and tasted even better than from the bottle. #drinklocal The "Leaning Tower of Pizza" never disappoints! It's so awesome to always get the same quality food over many years. That's what I love about local Havelock businesses. They have more control over quality. The Hot Wing and Jalapeño Poppers were both excellent too. I love how the whole staff appeared to enjoy working with each other. They treated us like family, and we loved it! We will be back soon! - Rob Benton

I was recommended to come here and try the Leaning Tower pizza. For some reason I thought it had cream cheese on it but it didn’t. Nonetheless, it didn’t disappoint because it was packed with toppings, sauce was great and the crust was very light. I was by myself and ordered the 10” and it was plenty, two slices coming home with me too. The atmosphere is very rustic and old school which is cool. Total local pizza parlor/bar. I sat at the bar on a Thursday and the bar staff was friendly and managing the crowd well. Table servers seemed to be enjoying themselves and keeping everyone well taken care of. I’ll be back and I’ll recommend this place just like it was to me. Plus they had the Dead playing from the jukebox! ✌️

This place is amazing. The best pizza in the city as well as the best staff. My wife and I go here almost every Friday night. The reason for our frequent visits could be credited to the staff just as highly as credited to the pizza. They always remember my name, they know exactly what I want to drink and they bring it out to me before I have even sat down, they know my order and my wife's order memorized better than I do. When I say they, I mean they, every member of the staff treats you like the most important person in the room. I like to create my own pizza with all the toppings and cream cheese , when it comes out of the oven it is really something to look forward to. They have ice cold, reasonably priced beers for me to drink and they always have a new IPA on tap for my wife to enjoy. Also they will concoct just about any drink that we ask for, or they will make recommendations that are always amazing The bar staff as well as literally everyone who works there makes you feel appreciated and welcome. It's a real family/great friends/neighbors type atmosphere The atmosphere is super laid back, almost feels a little bit old school in a good way, and generally everyone in there has a smile on their face because they are all enjoying the fantastic pizza at the aisles is famous for. The acoustics are great. You can have a conversation at normal tones even when the room is buzzing with conversations from different people. At the same time you can still hear the music soft but audible. So if you love pizza or if you just love amazing service and being treated as family when you go out for dinner. I would strongly recommend that you check out the isles pizza in...

I met up with a friend and my son who attends unl, we were recommended this place from another friend so I was excited to try it! Was quickly disappointed when our first interaction with im assuming an employee we were told "sit where ever you want". I asked if we could sit outside and do we need to tell anyone again rudely told "you just did". STILL not sure if this lady was a waitress or what. We were never greeted or asked if we'd been there just rushed from the time we sat down to the time we left. I understand being short staffed but for God sakes zero customer service, and even an eye roll at the end because we didn't have our bill ready when she basically threw it down on the table. I also got to enjoy watching our waitress light up a cigarette and sit on the bench outside like it was break time. I have nothing against smoking but I think its highly unprofessional to have the patrons be able to see you especially when I'm waiting to enjoy a nice dinner. If I had to base my experience on service I would NEVER return, but the food was delicious and reasonably priced. I hope the owner sees this and fixes this problem because I loved being able to sit outside and enjoy good food i just can't get over how rude the waitress was it left a bad taste in...
