SoulFULL Cocina — Restaurant in Lincoln

Okay I don't usually leave reviews because by the time I get a few moments I have already forgotten about leaving the review but today I am making time to leave this review!!! DELICIOUS, FLAVORFUL AND SOULFUL FOOD!!!! We ordered the Stach, Fried Catfish plate with Mac and cheese and collard greens and the Tri-tip plate with bbq beans and greenbeans. The catfish is hands down Best in the Midwest PERIOD!! So light and flaky crisp but juicy we had to order a catfish plate to go it was so dang good!!! The baked beans OMG what just happened here good! Not to sweet perfect amount of smoke with great spices!! My husband and I where about to fight over them so we got two sides with our second catfish plate. I'm from Santa Maria California so when I seen the Tri-tip on the menu I was like great another person not doing it justice. MAN WAS I WRONG..... the man smoked that beautiful piece of of heaven to perfection juicy, tender, flavorful and the smoke ring was a work of art in its self. You did that buddy!! When we walked in we where greeted by his wife with a big smile she had a great personality so warm and inviting she took time to explain everything to us. Which made me feel wanted and that our business was appreciated. You don't really get that anymore so it was truly appreciated. Her husband is the chef and you can tell soulFULL Cocina isnt just a name he really cooks with his soul and that to me is worth every penny i spent. I feel bad because I can't remember their names but I'll be back on Thursday for thier fried pork chop special!!! For the quality of food and atmosphere they are providing they need to raise thier prices and I don't ever feel that way anymore. Make sure to go check them out I know it's in Havelock so it a little bit of a drive for some but I'm telling you that you will not be...

A group of 4 of us stopped in a few days ago. I had high expectations, and they were all met. I had a 4 rib plate with baked beans and fries. The ribs were outstanding. Seasoned and smoked just right, dry with no sauce. They didn’t need sauce, but paired well with the sweet BBQ sauce. The baked beans were also delicious. Just the right amount of heat and sweetness. Just how I like them. The rest in the group had pulled pork sandwiches with different sides that they all enjoyed. I’m a bit of a BBQ snob and I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical approaching the place and not smelling smoke… this is almost always your first hint to turn around. Not here. This may be a lower volume type of BBQ place, but they pull it off. Everything tasted amazing, and there wasn’t even the slightest hint of having something dry or recycled. I will most definitely be back. Don’t hesitate to try this place!...

As someone new to Lincoln, finding Soulfull Cocina has been such a win! The meal was just fantastic. What really stood out was how warmly the owners greeted us and how they took the time to help us navigate the menu and find some truly great dishes to each of our tastes. Everything our group ordered was just bursting with flavor – seriously, some of the best BBQ I've had in a long time. Their fried chicken, catfish, and ribs were all top-notch, making it impossible to pick a favorite. The potato salad was definitely my favorite side, and their handmade BBQ sauces were super tasty. The owners were just so friendly. I'm already looking forward to going back; my mouth is watering just thinking about it! I can't wait to try...
