This is the first time my husband and I have eaten at Raina's on the Run. I just have to say it was Delicious! My husband is very picky about what he eats, he ate EVERYTHING. He kept saying how full he was and I asked him why he didn't stop and he said, "I couldn't. It was so good." He had the country fried steak with country gravy, eggs, country potatoes and a waffle. He inhaled it all. I had pork tenderloin with country gravy, mashed potatoes and green beans. Talk about big portions and everything is FRESH, no boxed or canned items here. It was perfectly seasoned and DELICIOUS. I couldn't finish it all, but I'm definitely looking forward to the leftovers. We had the pleasure of visiting with Raina, Tammy and another gentleman, I'm sorry we didn't get his name and they are the most Genuine, Friendly, and Personable people. I love them. They are committed to serving good quality, home cooked food at a fair price. If you want a fresh cooked, good quality, fairly priced , delicious, made from scratch, home cooked meal in a friendly welcoming environment, then Raina's on the Run is the place to go.We can't...
Read moreMy husband and I were asked to give an honest review and was told to offer ideas for improvements and critiques. My husband ordered the catfish nuggets, yams and Mac & cheese. I got the fish & chicken with Mac & cheese, greens and corn bread. We were not upset at all to learn that it would be cooked to order. Our portions were very generous, and ended up taking home left overs. The fish was very good, as was the cornbread and yams. The Mac n cheese was very much like what my mom makes. My critiques are that my greens were not very warm when my plate came, they were the first thing I tried. Though they did taste very good. Possibly they were dished up while the fish and chicken were frying? The one chicken wing I had room for, although piping hot and thoroughly cooked was a bit tough. This isn't going to deter us from returning, we enjoy supporting small business. We are excited to try the other things you make, thank you...
Read moreI went today with my parents and niece thanks to a recommendation and it's absolutely worth it. It was a great time chatting with the people there, the good was heaven sent and so filling. They let you know if something is out and what they have if it's similar that you might be interested in. Everything is homemade and absolutely worth the wait. My mom, niece and I got the cheeseburger (my niece and I got bacon on it as well) as well as onion rings (niece got fries), we all lost our minds at how well the onion rings were done as well, the fries and burgers were done to perfection. My step dad got the fish and chicken platter with mashed potatoes and corn, everyone tried it and adored it. Even from the first bite of everything we had, we all immediately loved it. I don't think I could recommend this enough and I can't wait to go back. Everyone there was wonderful and very nice...
