Great Wall Chinese Restaurant（N70th St &Vine) — Restaurant in Lincoln

Long night running errands resulting in a 45 minute late pick up. Still a hour till closing. Called to notify I'm on my way sorry for running late. 10 minutes later I get a call demanding to pick my food up now. I asked her to stop yelling and she hung up. As I'm 2 blocks away. As she hangs up I'm pulling up. She gave another young lady my food and locked the door quickly. As I roll my window down to see if they were mad, she asked if it was my food. Time is 935 now. The young lady insist I take my food me not wanting to take it and cause a problem. The lady put the food in my hand and 2 lady's and one man come rushing out assuming the owners. The lady on the phone started getting physical with the young lady and she tossed me the food to defend herself from being taking advantage of. After the toss the lady came after me, I am sitting in the truck have been the whole time. The lady started to swing and grab at me her I think mom and owner holder her back. I didn't want a huge sene so I gave her the food, right after she looks down at my leg and slames the door on it. 5 minutes later the cops come resulting in assult tickets on her end. Do not support this place. Very bad business. I was literally there to get my food already made 25 minutes...

I have known about this Chinese food restaurant since 1999. Since then, the owners have changed several times. The name of this business has been Great Wall most of the years it has been open. The appearance remained largely the same until recently. Great Wall got a remodel under the newest owners, and wow it looks so different. Great Wall looks modern and cleaner. They used to have a small TV toward the corner of the ceiling that was usually tuned to a TV station. The TV was removed.

This is the first time I can remember the menu really changing. It looks like they added a few new items. The bad news is the prices have gone up, but that's not unique to Great Wall. Since the new owner took over, I have tried the house special fried rice, the Singapore Mei Fun, and the roast pork egg rolls. I have been satisfied with everything.

I don't know why this restaurant changed ownership so much, but I am grateful it has lasted so many years. I have seen many businesses open only to close later in the Meadowlane Shopping Center, so it's nice to see a little bit of...

Quick service. Tasty. Really kind people. Overhead cashier chatting with a regular, sounded like they were having a good time.

General Tso chicken was great. I prefer their style of rice over wetter preparations. Egg roll was super tasty. I asked for more spice and it was a little weak, but I'm a hothead and have trouble getting places to make stuff hot enough. I don't blame anyone for trying to avoid ruining someone's meal.

Got my to go order quick. Super clean location, bright lobbythat gets a lot of natural light.

I always peak at kitchens since I've been in charge of a couple restaurant kitchens. I even had the same floor as them. Theirs was beautiful! Wish I knew what they're doing, but maybe that's why I'm no longer in restaurants...ah well!
