Here is my original review, their reply and my response. Me: Had a doughnut from Randy's and it was so nasty I couldn't finish it and threw it out. NEVER again! Not sure what was worse, the bad aftertaste they leave in your mouth or the hair I found that was baked in it!! And the employee was rude too!! Now I know what everyone was warning me about and they were right, this place is gross!
Randy's Donuts I found your comment to be hilarious. If that was the cause you should gave callers and made.a complaint. To each their own. I know your statements are false. But if it makes you feel good to lie well then that's what you must do. Enjoy the other donut shops in town. I already know mine are the best. That's why we have been in Lincoln for 35 years. Have e a great day
Me: Wow! What an unprofessional reply to make to a dissatisfied customer! Not only are you unsympathetic but also have extremely poor grammar! lol Not that it matters, but for your information I did bother to look up your phone number and call. No one answered so I figured you were closed! My statement is not false. However, only your business name has been around for 35 yrs, not the current owners, so stop trying to be misleading! (Look who's the true liar!) I guess your doughnuts are known for being awful is what I'm hearing from others since my ordeal. Multiple people have told me about the cats being inside there and the ammonia smell in your establishment is actually cat piss! (I wouldn't know what cat piss smells like since I don't own any cats!) Are you the same rude idiot that was working up front that day? You have a LOT to learn about professionalism, common courtesy and dealing with dissatisfied customers! Your reply is not considered customer service and that is why you continue to lose customers (you're consistently not willing to "make things right") If this is putting your best foot forward to make amends with an unhappy customer (out right calling them a liar) then that speaks volumes for who you are as a person and your character but also sheds light on how you run a business. I have copied and pasted not only my review but your response and this reply to my facebook wall for my friends all over the world to see your business practices. (Like my mama taught me, give a fool enough rope and they always hang themself!) I will continue to patronize all other doughnut shops in Lincoln, thank you for your blessing on that! lol And please by all means, continue to think yours are the best. That is what makes you the prime example of the phrase "Ignorance is bliss"! Now do yourself a favor and stop trolling the internet and go back to doing what you do best.....you know.....licking the windows on...
Read moreI’ve never been to Randy’s Donuts and I never will be. Here is my experience with Randy’s Donuts. Last night my husband was walking our dogs late in the evening 9:00 or 10:00p.m. We live in Capital Beach. My husband walks our dogs (small pug mixes) every night allowing the dogs to wander at their leisure on a leash. They ended up in WestGate Plaza under the canopy near all of the small shops in the strip mall. The dogs are sniffing the ground like they always do and headed towards Woodees and then down towards Randy’s. I’m guessing they were looking for “treats”. They’re dogs that’s what dogs do. They stopped in front of Randy’s and before Jason could get the dogs moving this lady come out of Randy’s yelling at him that she puts the cat food down for cats not his dogs. He continues to try to get the dogs moving along and she continues to yell at him. He APOLOGIZED to her and she continued to yell at him. She even had the gall to tell him NOT to bring the dogs back there EVER. It’s a public area and all of the businesses were closed. They weren’t doing anything other than being dogs. The response was just waaaay over the top. I did sent a PM via FB to address this and got 0 response. It says a lot that feeding cats outside a human food establishment is more important than being respectful to a...
Read moreI woke up this morning with a great aspiration of adventure in seek of the best donuts ever created by man kind. After taking a shower and brushing my teeth, I left the comfort of my home to trek into the hostile covid infested world. Upon a quick google search of “donuts in Lincoln, NE” my eyes became quickly fixed on the most beautiful donuts I had ever witnessed. My mouth quickly filled with saliva and my eyes started watering with tears of excitement and joy. I knew my heart was tugging at me to click on Randy’s Donut Shop. When I walked in, the aroma of fresh donuts, sugar, and frosting only escalated my already insanely high senses. I reached such a high state of euphoria, that I became completely speechless after the owner had asked, “What can I get for you today”. I finally collected myself enough to respond. “One of each please.” Then the magic really set in... the owner told me, “it’s on the house”. I didn’t know what to do with myself after that. I was lost in a beautiful, enlightening, and elegant place where only God himself would be familiar with. The donuts were not donuts at all, but something more, something from the heavens that I wish everyone could experience...
