I visited Rosie’s South on Friday 2/23/24 and paid my tab between 8 and 8:30PM Overall, I’ve always enjoyed Rosie’s, but after this last visit I’m starting to change my opinion. My tab was $25.11 with a $12 tip for an overall total of $37.11 imagine my surprise when I check my account the next day and see the charge I was expecting, plus an additional charge of $52.05! I immediately called them on Saturday 2/24/24 at 11:14AM and stated the mistake, where I was sitting, who my server was etc….the person I was talking to informed me the manager was busy with someone else, so they took my name and number and let me know the manager would look into it. 4 hours later I noticed that the charge changed from $52.05 to $72.05 and so I called back and the person I spoke to stated “we’ve been really busy. They have the note with your information and they’ll call you back when they can”. It’s now been 24 hours later and an additional phone call that just wasn’t answered when I tried to call again Sunday 2/25/24 at 11:20AM. At this point, I don’t feel confident they are making it a priority to correct their mistake and so I guess I’ll just dispute the charge with my card company. Everyone remember to check your charges after...
Read moreIf you want to go to Rosie's, the downtown and highway 2 experience are night and day different. The downtown experience was phenomenal, for which I've previously wrote a review. The day we tried Rosie's South, we joke that the "restaurant Gods" were punishing us. I couldn't imagine being more disgusted in 2 single main courses. Not only was I shocked by the poor quality of our meals, but it was asinine anyone from the kitchen to our server, to feel this was appropriate to serve. My Philly was so burnt I couldn't tell what was cheese, onion, peppers, or mushrooms. Initially, our corner was a bit dark, and I couldn't tell how disgusting this looked. As I tried to muscle through it, I realized how awful and inedible it was. Our server hadn't come back, and I couldn't see her. The onion rings were so over cooked and greasy they were also unfinished. The French dip was incredibly unimpressive. I'll never order food from this location again it...
Read moreWe recently held my niece's graduation party at Rosie's and it was outstanding! Their banquet space is open with a stage and variety of table sizes. There is also a full bar right in the room. The staff that was scheduled that day were outstanding! So pleasant, polite & helpful with every little thing we needed! Room rates were $250 if you cater through them and $500 if you bring in your own food. But believe me, the food they served was reasonably priced, freshly prepared and delicious! They did allow us to bring in a cake, a candy bar and Mom's favorite potato salad. We even got all you can drink non-alcoholic drinks for $80! We didn't have to mess with tea, coffee, water, etc. That was such a nice blessing! I would recommend hosting any small to medium sized event at this venue! We didn't do much in the bar/grill area but I did pass through and it is a fun, friendly atmosphere with an...
