So first time here, I see the parking lot full sometimes and thought it’d be good to try a new place so I went with my Boyfriend. I ordered French toast and my bf ordered gravy and biscuits and hash. We got drinks and put an order in then never saw a waitress again. We were sitting right at there bar stool counter top in-front of the kitchen and service area. That would have been fine except we waited over 45 min for just the three things we ordered as others with bigger parties and larger orders got placed and given before us. Of course the food came and when it did not only did it look horrible but it tasted....EVEN WORSE my French toast was cardboard with boxed eggs(which is there choice for all eggs) it was hard I mean like hard to cut hard to chew and even harder to swallow. Ok the “hash” was some sort of sacrificial road kill that I wouldn’t feed to a stray dog on the street. The “biscuits and gravy” were more like wet chalk and overdone grits and a ton of salt please be wary of this all there food contains a lot a lot of salt. We didn’t touch our food and sat patently for our check. When we got the check from a waitress she asked if we wanted boxes we said no thank you. Then a different waitress came over and asked why we didn’t touch our food? Our money with check in had to pay for everything we did order an tried. We calmly explain we did not like the food. My boyfriend did use the word disgusting which I know may be insulting. She looked us both in the face and the money then started tossing the food In the trash in-front of us mumbling. My boyfriend tried to explain that we would still pay. When the women got in our face and said “yeah our food is so bad look at the cooks right? “ “ look at all of these people the foods terrible”. Taken back we still tried to at-least tip her a 20 for the time. She looked us up and down and told us “I don’t want YOUR money” she got in our face again and said “ I’m the owner”. We got our things and left. I wasn’t even gonna write a bad review because you know sometimes a restaurant just isn’t for you. Even after how rude the owner was (she’s a women In her late 50’s-60’s with short brown hair and glasses) BUT both my boyfriend and I are currently suffering from food sickness not even 20 mins after we left. We went to a Dr. to confirm it was that because we both got violently sick on our way home. SO over all Not good service, Not good food, Not good people, not friendly and certainly NOT where I’d take...
Read moreI'm surprised that this place has so many great reviews. Our actual waitress messed up our order, so two of us were eating while one just watched. The waitress never came back to apologize or ask if the food was good. The pancakes were extremely dry. Upon leaving, the waitress didn't even acknowledge us. The bill was $26.19 and I tipped $5 because tipping culture doesn't allow me to leave her $0 as heaven forbid she gets what she earned, which was practically nothing. Very rude atmosphere. One waitress who corrected our order was nice though. I would never go back and I wish I...
Read moreI started coming here little by little mostly getting take out. After coming here a few times with family I really began to enjoy not only the delicious breakfast but how family friendly they are. Every-time we go there my kids and I are welcomed with smiles and good mornings. No matter how busy it may be they do a great job at making sure everyone is cared for and happy. We now go every weekend and you start to know a lot of the regulars who are there too. I will be coming here as long as I’m in RI! Best place to come with big families too as they have the long seating in...
