Started with the Mixed Appetizer which includes Hummus, Baba Ganoush, Eggplant Salad, and Taboula. Served with Pita. It was all good, it's going to be a personal preference. Hummus was heavy on the tahini, Baba Ganoush was super flavorful even though smoky is not my favorite. Eggplant is not my jam, Taboula was yummy with the herbs.
We decided we should each try a wrap since they were running a special for 5 bucks. I got the Falafel sandwich and my husband the Beef Kebab version. They were delicious! We both agreed we'd pay full price for them.
Dolmas are one of his favorite things. It's grape leaves stuffed with rice and usually ground meat. These ones were vegetarian so I got a taste. He liked them, but missed the meat, he'd still eat them again. He was also excited for the Kuba Plate, having eaten a homemade version of it previously. He really liked it. They came up short on the serving size so we were given free Baklava to make up for it!
They also have Hot Tea that you can help yourself to for free. It was perfectly matched with the flavors of the Baklava and I'm sure the same could be said for any of the desserts. Speaking of which...
The dessert case was fully stocked. Although we had no more vacancy in our stomachs we knew we had to take something home. We tried a dish called Kunafa which is shredded phyllo dough with cheese, pistachios, and syrup. It was different but good, the whole fam had a bite, super rich. The Tiramisu Cake was calling our names. I don't really like sweet and this was soooo yummy. I could picture myself showing up for a slice and a cup (or two or three) of that tea!
Front of house was ran by one woman who was very kind and patiently answered all of our questions. She checked on us to make sure we were happy and that we were enjoying our meal. We felt very...
Read moreDecided to try this place out on a whim. It turned out to be absolutely delicious! I don't know what they put in their Spicy Curry but it's absolutely one of the best things to eat in town.
The portion sizes are huge! I have to ask them to downsize it a little so I can eat it all. If you like taking home leftovers, this is definitely the place for you.
Generally a plate goes from between 9 dollars (gyros, hamburgers, that sort of thing) to 14 dollars (kebab and Tikka plates). There are a few dishes that are 18 dollars (I believe it's because they use lamb in them) and they have a few multi-person combos that go up in price from there. I'd expect to spend between 10-15 dollars a person, however. Maybe more depending on how thirsty you are.
They provide free tea (I believe it's chai, but I'm not super well versed in the different kinds of tea) that is very herbal/fragrant. Can't complain about that and I enjoy it. With this in mind, if you're wanting soda, it comes in individually purchased bottles/cans instead of from a soda fountain. This is not a negative, as the tea is more than good enough to drink with your meal (free beverages are never a bad thing).
The individuals that take your order are very nice and friendly as well.
All in all, highly recommended and I will definitely add this to my take out rotation for the...
Read moreThis five-star middel eastern restaurant exceeded all my expectations. The moment I entered, I was impressed by the luxurious décor and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout the evening.
The menu had a wide range of traditional Arabic dishes, all prepared with high-quality ingredients and beautifully presented. I especially enjoyed the mixed grill, fresh hummus, and the warm, oven-baked bread. The flavors were rich and authentic, reminding me of the best Middle Eastern cuisine. To end the night, the baklava and Arabic coffee were simply perfect.
Overall, it was a memorable dining experience — outstanding food, top-notch service, and a refined setting. Definitely a place I would visit again and recommend to anyone looking for authentic Arabic fine...
