Valentino's — Restaurant in Lincoln

Terrible. Absolutely horrible service if I could give less than one star I would. I ordered a pizza, that's right just one, for delivery and they estimated about 45 minutes until it arrived. One hour and ten minutes later it still hasn't arrived so I give them a call. Surprise surprise they put me on hold. "Okay" I figure, "they are probably just really busy." Eventually they pick up again and so I ask: "Are you guys really busy right now?" The response? "No, actually, we are not". Wow. So I ask about my pizza that I ordered an hour and ten minutes ago. The guy doesn't even ask for the order, evidently it was the only one. He tells me its out for delivery and then adds that its been out for a while and should arrive any minute. Another ten minutes I hear the doorbell. Finally. Have you guessed it yet? I grab a kitchen thermometer and stick it into the pizza...give it a few seconds and find out it maxes out at 90 degrees F. The cheese is hardened and when I tried pulling a slice out all of the toppings stayed with the cheese attached to the rest of the pizza and I'm left holding a piece of saucy crust. So now I have to recut a precut pizza. Are....

You guys don't answer your calls. well you do but no one talks then u hang up. I ordered around $55-60 worth of food from you. they got my pizza totally wrong and another order. I called the manager at the time told me he can understand why the employees made a mistake its such a rare one to do. He assured me next time I come they will get it for me and it will be in some book. 2 weeks or so later I go back the lady short of calling me a liar had me leave. She was a manager. i asked for a customer service # she gave me a corporate # cant get to anyone when you call & no one calls you back. Oh, I forgot the lady mngr. told me she will give me the two items if I pay for half of it. Now What kind of con job is that. I'm @ ur store and you want me to pay for your mistake. when I asked when the GM would be there. I was told call if he is there he's working. She lied 3 times and got caught. The question to Ponder is this: "Are Valentino's Restaurants Thieves" its 8weeks or more who knows and still nothing. The one Star is because you are the only one we know that serves...

We moved away from Nebraska years ago and Valentino's is one of those great cravings for us when we return. However, it wasn't a great experience. The person taking our order acted like she wished we weren't there and gave no suggestions on specials or discounts even though she was surprised by the $50 total. Asked her manager " Is that right?" for two medium pizzas, a small pasta and 3 drinks. She left minutes later. The order was made wrong - an all meat came out at a cheese pizza. When I asked the server what kind of pizza it was - he said, "Pepperoni? I don't know, I didn't make it." They refunded the difference because I didn't want to wait for them to remake it, but offered no other compensation. I don't think I'll let my memories guide my cravings for pizza anymore.
