My girlfriend and I went through the drive through at 7:20pm on a Thursday night. It was extremely slow. We order one 4 for 4 with spicy nuggets & a chicken sandwich, one 4 for 4 with spicy nuggets & a spicy chicken sandwich, and ketchup and ranch. The person taking our order tells us that it is $22.51, but I thought i misheard them at first. We drive to the first window and the worker takes my card and i ask for a receipt. He says he will have the worker at the next window give it to me. The worker at the second window hands us 3 bags and im alarmed, but don’t say anything. Then I have to ask again for the receipt. My girlfriend and I park and begin to look at the receipt and the bags. They charged us for 2 4 for 4s with spicy nuggets and CHEESEBURGERS and then 2 ADDITIONAL chicken sandwiches. They gave us one spoon for a frosty (we ordered two). They also did not give us any ranch. I went in to get a refund for the extra $12 we had to pay, and when I spoke to the manager, Cindy, she told me that it is not possible to get a 4 for 4 with a chicken sandwich. Read moreWant to give 5 stars, because the food is great, but the employees are incredibly rude and makes the food hardly worth it. There’s been twice where they’ve closed 30 or more minutes before their site advertises. This most recent time, I drove up to the drive thru 30 minutes before closing, while the sign was on, drive thru sign was lit up, and interior lights were on. I saw an employee look directly at my vehicle as I drove up, and right when I got to the sign, they immediately turned it off without saying a single word. Then the employees inside watched us drive away through the windows. Incredibly unprofessional and rude business practices. Really didn’t want to post this because I know that this place is new and the employees aren’t the most experienced yet. Mistakes will happen. But this was not a mistake, it was just blatantly rude and if they’re not gonna follow their hours it needs to be updated on the site. Read moreFood is good, but drive through service is the slowest in lincoln besides perhaps the Raising Canes on old cheney. In the four times that I have been to this Wendy’s since it opened, once my order was just the complete wrong meal, and the other time I was given the wrong drink and the wrong sandwich. The workers are friendly for the most part but the speed and accuracy of service needs to improve.
Edit: The following day I decided to give the Wendy’s another shot, and after ordering in their drive through I waited for around 5 minutes at the window before being told their systems were down and they were unable to take my order. I am dropping my two star review to a one star, simply based on the fact that I should not have to gamble unfavorable odds on wether I am going to get any food from the restaurant, let alone the correct food.
