Chēēque's — Restaurant in Linden

I've stopped here on my way to the airport at Tuesday around midnight. Parking and entrance were free and there were already some other visitors. I had a medium size coke for 4 dollars, which was good.

In the middle of the club there was a stage surrounded by a long bar counter. There were continuously two girls dancing on stage and they also got down on their knees to do some teasing in order to get attention. Although, they were quite far away from the audience due to the layout with the stage and the bar around. The dancers were wearing full lingerie at all times. After their performance they made their way along the counter (on the inside) in order to earn some dollars from the audience. They did not do a lot for it, but at least some of them tried to get closer, like putting up their leg on the counter, or did a quick tease.

It was okay but not too exciting. I left after some time and tried a another club down the street that was even...

If you want to be a dancer, take this one star in heart and in mind. And to the owners if y'all read.

From my personal venture, the 'manager' or 'person-in-charge-of-hiring-dancers' will lie to your face and tell you after tryout that you're on-call "part-time," but will not bother to ask for your contact information in the same breath.

In short, it's disrespectful.

If you're going to deny someone, at least give them an actual critique on why you don't want to hire them before you lie to their face.

I suppose certain types of black women aren't popular for Cheeques' Linden patrons. And it's okay because sometimes you can't depend on certain people to look at you and respect your professional demeanor.

Great club! Cheaper than most and the girls are much better and more personable. I recommend coming here over Breathless and many others. Plus the atmosphere is way better than a lot of places. As far as racism goes, I've felt that it was less here than any other clubs I've been to. Nice place to go to on a week day for a drink to relax and get some stress off your shoulders. You don't feel hampered to keep tipping a dollar, plus you still get a great show. They charge $10 after a certain hour, but it's still a nice place to go. This place is unique and has quite a charm to it....
