⚠️ POSSIBLE HEALTH CONCERN: Sticky, dirty appearing floors in the restrooms; like eww!⚠️
This is a venue that can and will be easily missed, especially for ones with a very busy itinerary and also for the fact that this diner is located on arguably one of the busiest streets in the area. We only know of this diner, not because of its popularity; but, because we are volunteers for the United States Tennis Association and are responsible for the grounds not too far from this diner's location. What a pity; an unrelated affiliation to this venue!
So, like, we are not totally opposed to this diner. Yet, the layout is a bit wonky and too tight for our liking. We mean, if the close fitted table set-up does not bother you, then this is the place for you.
The synergy here is okay, perhaps a bit much for us, though somewhat appreciated.
We are severely disappointed with the fact that the food here is served cold; like not even a room temperature cold . . . It is worse! This diner is not even that busy for this to happen; which is also concerning to say the least. Really, serving cold food that is supposed to be heated should and must not happen at all! Expect no Michelin stars or James Beard Award recognition here; and that is not a compliment . . .! Even the butter that we cleverly blanketed between the pancakes do not melt! Wow; a huge failure to the ultimate culinary experience. If you like colder than usual food that is not supposed to be served and presented to you that way, this is a venue you may want to try? Depending on your experience(s), happy dining; . . . or not.
■A Quyloon Reese Report on Experiences & Custom (QR-REC)®: •Food: 40/100 (Dishes and sides sit out too long on top of the fact that we are coming to dine on a cold, snowy day; simply unacceptable) •Portion to Cost Ratio: 65/100 (somewhat filling per serving size though can improve) •Comfortable: 40/100 (close seating proximity and barely room to walk or converse) •Hospitality (Staff): 80/100 (though a bit too over the top at the times; please be natural) •Clean: 75/100 (including restrooms with sticky, dirty floors; yeah . . . that's concerning) Overall Score: 300/500 (60%) ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ 🔵GOAL: "Our intent is to design innovative expository to provide daunting critiques that command attention and force heads to turn...
Read moreVery nice place but some issues here An allergen that I asked to not be in my food and was no where in the description was in my food when I checked for that item The follow up on the complaint was amazing which I truly appreciate you Michelle The problem with the follow up is that I sent a photo and the chef is stating (I didn't make that that's not onion verbally rude in the background) ... I know what an onion is I can't eat it because of a medical condition nor was it in the description of the items. I also advised the person who did take the order to please make sure it wasn't there and she assured me it wasn't (it was) All other food was perfect people make mistakes it's human error.. but you can't be rude to someone once you've gotten there money as the gentleman who checked me out had no manners or even a thank you when I tipped him on my order this place has a mix of good and bad but I wouldn't let my experiance stray you away from trying it yourself because in fact it's really nice and all the food my children had they truly enjoyed. Unfortunately I couldn't. Onions and French toast don't even go together so I wouldn't understand why that would even happen to begin with
-Again all other food was great -Follow up was great -Comments from chef shouldn't have been heard from customer Gentlemen cashier could use his manners and "please & thank you's" when receiving payment or a tip (you never know what someone else is going thru) But overall I'd reccomend to someone, just...
Read moreI have been trying to go to this place for a year now and I’m so glad my husband surprised me today! I ended up ordering two things and he got the Churro French Toast with fresh orange juice while I ordered the STUFFED Churro French Toast which was DELICIOUS!! I also got the Buffalo Chicken Wrap and let me tell you… those french fries were the star of the show! So crispy and crunchy and very well seasoned. I definitely will be getting fries from this place, always. My husband enjoyed his French toast as well. If you got a sweet teeth, I recommend getting the Stuffed Churro French Toast. It comes with bananas, strawberries drizzled with caramel frosting and Nutella and the toast is stuffed with Bavarian cream (it’s the same cream that comes with a boston donut). I also order a cappuccino which was lovely (I drank it so fast and forgot to take a photo). We had the most friendliest and outgoing waiter, Christopher! (You can call him Chris) he was quick and attentive and had the warmest smile. We spoke with the owners, Louis and Peter, they are brothers! They really value hospitality, making sure everyone feels at home and the food quality being consistent through and through. Really friendly staff and we will be returning with some friends and family. Thank...
