1800 flowers need to do better overall and choose competent local flower shops. This most recent delivery is the third time my flower delivery has been less than satisfactory. This order had a delivery date of 2/6/2021. The provider stated the delivery was unsuccessful; however, my Ring security system clearly shows there was NO attempted delivery. When my gentleman phone to an inquiry, they apologized and told him they would not be delivered until 2/8, two days late. On Saturday- the day of the scheduled delivery, I receive a voice mail from 180 flowers informing me of a Monday delivery schedule. Additionally, they let me know that they had made a mistake that had caused a delay in the original delivery date. Today 2/8, I just received the delivery from the Flower Gallery located in Linden, NJ. The flowers do not look fresh. The water that most likely was in the vase is now spilled in the cellophane wrapper. Cherished Blooms Bouquet that he ordered is NOTING like what I received what makes matters even worst. We are in the middle of a pandemic, so why wasn't the delivery person was wearing a mask. When he rang my bell to hand me the flowers- Of course, I didn't open the screen door to accept them but instead motioned for him to place them on the stoop and leave. What is also concerning is the fact that he delivered the flowers out of his personal vehicle while he was talking on his cell phone.
Last year they delivered Anniversary Balloons with my flowers instead of the Birthday Balloons...

This place needs to be called out.
I visited 100 Flowers and witnessed what I believe to be clear racial profiling. A Black customer in front of me was buying flowers for his mother and tried to pay with his debit card. The manager demanded to see his ID, even though he explained he had just used his card at three other stores with no issue. After an unnecessary back and forth, he was forced to show ID just to complete a simple purchase.
Then the customer behind him—a white man—paid with a debit card and wasn’t asked for ID at all.
When it was my turn (also a Black man), I went to pay with Apple Cash using my phone, and again, the same manager insisted I show ID—despite the fact that Apple Cash does not require ID. It became clear this wasn’t about policy; it was about profiling. I paid just to avoid a scene, but I stuck around to watch the white customer behind me. He used a debit card—no ID required.
This store clearly does not treat all customers the same. There is no excuse for this kind of double standard. I will never shop here again, and I urge others to think twice before giving their money to a place where Black customers are treated like suspects while white customers are treated with trust.

The girl that helped me did just that but it didn't come out the way I wanted it to look and for the price of $120 so I KINDLY & POLITELY asked for a refund and was WILLING to do store credit for something better when the same employee who helped me came out and started to give me attitude. She told me I should of went to ShopRite if I wanted to get cheap flowers she kept on giving me attitude so much that another employee had to signal to her to be quiet AND another offered to redo my bouqet. I did not respond to her because I came to buy flowers NOT attitude and insults. This is no way to treat a customer who PAID an outrageous $120 for a small bouqet and KINDLY asked for a refund. She kept running her mouth in front of the other employees one of them offered to make my bouqet bigger. This pic was before the other nice employee helped make it better BUT You be the judge do these look worth $120 PLUS the insults & attitude? I dont think so, I won't do business again with people that don't care to insult and disrespect their customers especially when I kept my cool and composure by not responding to her.
