Today I am officially no longer ordering from this restaurant due to lack of professionalism and nearly expired food. I find it disrespectful and disappointing to support black business especially those of your own kind to treat their customers so poorly. And when I say poorly, I am talking in terms of the quality of the food. I find it hard for someone to spend 35 dollars for food at times like this during a pandemic and you can’t even enjoy half of what you ordered because the food is sour/spoiled. I ordered a legume and from opening it you could smell it was old not to mention the carrots tasted more spoiled than the legume (could you believe that!? Hmm) smh. We called to explain to them the matter and the woman in front had the audacity to tell me “the food isn’t spoiled and that the rest of the workers tasted it and there was nothing wrong”. She said there isn’t nothing she can do and she’ll have the owner call to hear our complaints and possibly refund the money we spent. Long story short nobody called to even apologize, to hear us out, or even to say we’ll make sure this doesn’t happen again… NADA! What’s more hurtful is she didn’t even apologize or try to even show sympathy, but can we blame her because they came out on top with selling rotten food. I’d stay clear of this restaurant and most importantly stay away from the legume. Please don’t sit and lie because you did ask for the receipt and only returned my call because I said I would make sure to explain my experience on the radio!!!!! As for the refund I never came for it because this place can’t be trusted....

I was glad to see a Haitian restaurant nearby and decided to give them a try. On January 11th 2022 about 2:30 pm I went there. My first impression was it was clean 🧼 and the Haitian culture decor if you will was on point. The food experience was terrible 😞.

The prices on the menu doesn’t match what they have in their computer 🖥 or system. For example I ordered a complete meal poul dir or hen on the menu it says large $16 but in their system it’s $17 I bought another complete meal legume the price is deferent as well. They need to update the menu so it reflects the real price.

The guy at the cashier may need more training, I didn’t get no utensils 🍴, no napkins didn’t realize that until I got home. Also usually when you order a complete meal 🥘 with any Haitian restaurant I know you get some macaroni on the side I ordered 2 and got none.

I love Haitian food and was excited that there was now one nearby. I was not eating meat or fish today so I was happy to try their vegetable legume. I called in my order and ordered the vegetable legume. When I arrived about 12 minutes later I got a call and a hang up. I walked in and the man asked my name. I told him and he said he tried to call me. It was right as I arrived with a hang up that I received. He then told me they had no vegetable legume and only lalo which is another vegetable dish 🤦🏽‍♀️. I wish I would of known that before I came. I asked him questions and trusted his judgment and got it. It was about $13. When I arrived home I dug in and noticed right away there was crab shells, I am guessing for seasoning. I wanted a vegetarian dish and this shouldn't have had crab.
