I love the concept of the place. It has a beautiful design and I love all off the vegan and dessert options. You can tell a lot of thought went into the menu. But the service is terrible. It's consistently bad. The only thing staff cares about is getting you out of the door and getting you a refund when they don't make your order and you have to order all over again. The food tastes great most of the time, but it's so hit or miss. And when they miss the food is a complete mess. Old oil, overly greasy, sandwiches not put together, missing utensils, sause, and drinks. It's very inconsistent and way to expensive for such terrible service. When you gently point out mistakes they blame the last shift and tell you to come back another day. Also, the floor is incredibly sticky and so are the tables. Very disappointing. As a vegetarian, I really want to support the place because I do enjoy the flavors; but the lack of execution and horrible service make it too much of a liability to order. This was our first time here. It's ironic before trying out the place I read some reviews about how the place is great except for the employees. My family and I thought to try it anyway and let's say the reviews are right. I ordered an apple pie and come to find there were raisins inside when I bit it and I hate raisins! When I went to front desk to ask for one without; she said they are pre-made with raisins and I mentioned how the menu did not mention anything about raisins it just said Apple pie on it. She was like just pick them off and I said it doesn't matter to do that as even the small bite that I had taste like pure raisins. I asked her if she can offer me something else or a refund. She said no to both so the $5 I spent just went to them and was wasted. I’ve come here many times and haven’t had any issues until today. Not sure what the girl who was working the front todays name is but she had a very nasty attitude over the phone like of bothers her to have to work. What a weirdo. I then ordered açaí bowls and when I came inside to get them glad I came in btw bc she was cutting up the fruit with her bare hands no gloves not only did she not have gloves but she was touching her phone n then going back to touch my food with her bare hands. Not to mention a dog also came from behind the counter where the kitchen is. It could be a great place if they followed sanitary procedures and prioritized customer service. I definitely won’t be giving any of my money to this place again. I didn’t realize they have 2 separate pages on google so posting this here as well to let people be aware of the unprofessionalism!
