This place is starting to go downhill as they continue to operate. Not sure if the newer staff need readjustments or what but the pizza quality has definitely changed since they first opened. I ordered a buffalo chicken slice pizza at 11:21 am according to my receipt and upon arriving home to eat the slice it looked very soggy & cold. I took my first bite and was met with chicken that tasted like it was from yesterday. I honestly believe this pizza was the pizza they didn’t sell from the night before that they decided to get rid of first thing in the morning with the early customers. Unfortunately one of those early customers was me. I tried taking one more bite to see if maybe I just didn’t bite a good side of the pizza but no, even the area by the crust tasted old. I then decided to call Pies on Stiles for some sort of accommodation. Maybe to suggest offering me to bring the slice back to establishment then throwing it out to receive a fresh free slice on the house? Or maybe even giving me a credit towards one slice? The cashier/ counter girl on the phone just seemed like she wanted to get me off the phone and go on about her day. I’m very disappointed in how this turned out. Below is how the conversation went.
Me: calls Counter Girl: Hi Pies on Stiles Please Hold Counter girl: hi will it be pick up or delivery Me: I was actually calling because I was just there and I ordered a buffalo chicken slice and the slice is actually not good and it seems like it was pizza from yesterday Counter girl: I’m sorry can I have the last 4 of your card? Me: gives card Counter girl: hold on one second let me see what I can do Me: okay Counter girl: hello, yes I see your order here and I’m going to refund you Me: Um okay (me thinking she was going to continue talking or saying something about the order) Counter girl: hangs...

My company has ordered from them before and decided to pay a visit for pickup. I opted on the caprese panini accompanied by fries and pickles. Upon arrival, this establishment, formerly Enzo's, looked amazing from the renovation when it was opened four years ago. Besides pizza, they also offer sandwiches, wraps, and pasta entrees. One can’t help but notice the various kinds of pizza displayed by the counter. The panini was hot, very tasty with balsamic glaze, and enough for 2 meals. The fries were nice and crispy. The price was very reasonable. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I can recommend this place. —————————- Located on the former site of Enzo’s on North Stile Street in Linden, a local pizzeria from Beachwood has expanded their establishment, naming it Pies on Stiles, where my colleague placed an order for delivery yesterday. There’s a nice menu selection. It was decided to get a plain pizza, veggie (peppers, onions, mushrooms, and broccoli), meatlovers (pepperoni, sausage, meatballs, and bacon), and grandma pizza (thin, square crust with fresh mozzarella, plum tomato sauce, and basil) plus two mixed salads for a staff of eleven. The delivery was on time, and the pies arrived hot and smelling delicious. The salads were huge and fresh. Pizza was what I expected—average at best. The service was quick and pleasant. If you’re in the area, give this...
Read moreIt’s a shame to write this but businesses need to understand that how you treat your customers matters. No complaints about the quality of food, however, the service experienced today has made me vow never to spend a penny to support them. I attempted to place an order and was greeted by being placed on hold in 1.5 seconds. After waiting for ten minutes I hung up and tried again only to wait another another 10 minutes, third attempt was only a 5 min hold but the young lady on the phone was apparently not listening as she repeated the wrong address back to me and when I attempted to correct her was placed on hold AGAIN after she stated she was not “dealing” with me. Ok… finally speak with the owner Joshua who understood my perception of the situation. This is sad simply because at least he knows why he lost my business and why but how many people were not “worth dealing with” that took their business elsewhere? His staff obviously doesn’t care if his business has repeat customers...
